Bring Back Prototype Reman gear as mission prizes?

Now here's one that I think should be a nice little gift to have: thanks to the consolidation of Rep gear into just Mk XIIs, the poor Reman Prototype Shield has been left all alone. Especially since Colosseum is quite the pain.
Now, while I don't like the idea of ignoring one type of gear for another, why don't we have the Prototype Reman Space gear as mission prizes to go along with the ignored Reman shield? Frankly, I find both the Cloaked Intentions and Temporal Ambassador missions lacking in neat prizes (especially poor Temporal Ambassador - no one would want to go back to that after getting the Tier III ship.)
