I recently decided to invest in the Fleet Avenger after quite a few months of swapping between my Galaxy-X dreadnought and Odyssey star cruiser. I never paid much attention to my other builds and just cobbled together whatever i could at the time so this is my first real build and would like any suggestions or ideas on how i can improve my current build.

Thanks in advance
Note: My skills have remained the same since launch and I'm not sure if they might need a re-spec to fit my current build.
Ignore my daft spelling mistake, the ship is the U.S.S. Sacrifice not Sacrificre.

Your skills have issues. Max out attack pattern. Put points into starship maneuvers, flow capacitor, electroplasma system, warpcore eficiency, shield system, inertial dampener. You ran out of points because of the 9 points in stuff like armor reinforcement.
That said, you might consider doing all BAs instead of mixing DBB in there. Then broadside as much as you can. Also: If you want the forward torp that's fine, but don't put one aft. You're just losing firepower on the weak end of your ship (only 3 weapon slots) when you have to turn around and cannot broadside something.
Can I make a suggestion? Ditch APO. Here's my logic: The tractor beam isn't very useful. It's short range and limited up-time makes it more of a liability. Put PH1 on there to get you out of holds and scrapes. Then use the TAC slot to run, say, any of the following:
FAW1 / APB1 / TS3
TT1
Or
TS1 / APB1 / FAW3
TT1
The TS3 option gives TRIBBLE-loads of torps. It's amazing to see. Maybe not overly effective in situations where you don't WANT to aggro the heck out of every enemy on the map.... but still cool at times. My best suggestion is probably the APB1/FAW3 combo. You can switch that to FAW2 / APB2 if you like but generally the higher FAW level will yield better damage results, and you still get a decent spread on your torps with TS1.
Either way, I wouldn't use APO. It's too useful for something else that increases your firepower several times over. Or TB1. I'd ditch the TB1 in lieu of either PH1 or HE1. If you do NOT have HE1, I would recommend getting the doff that %chance clears debuffs on use of emergency powers (i.e. EPTs) because it will clear plasma fires and the like.
That's my take, looking at it on paper and from my own PvE experience.
EDIT: Oh, and lose one of your ETs and run at least 1 EPTS and 1 EPTW. Cycle the EPTs nonstop with your A2Bat giving them near-global cooldowns. It will significantly boost your damage output and your damage resistance.
