Remove PVP

Sto pvp is beyond help. Apply the Final Solution to pvp.

It's can't possibly be balanced at this point with new doffs, new items and every new thing added to the pot every day.

It serves only to mass produce whine by the few and the 1337 vapers. Vaper induced nerfbat is the reason we cannot have nice things. The whine will cease when everyone can win.

Note: Please do not merge this PvP thread into one of the Exploration Clusters threads. There are dozens of these, and they should be merged into each other, not with a pvp thread. Please do not post about Exploration Clusters in this thread. It's a separate issue, and already have dozens of identical threads just for it. Post in these instead. Pvp =/= exploration. Do not derail.

    Pvp is in the same terrible state as it was at launch, very much like the soon to be removed exploration clusters. Removing it definitely seems justified.

    restarting a thread that just got closed or merged is probably never a good idea. Again, the choice of that phrase. This will not end well for you OP.

    Unpaid mod, not dev. And it got merged into one of dozens of Exploration Cluster spam threads and lost due to ppl started whinning about Exploration Clusters closing and drawing a parallel. Strangely enough, the Exploration Cluster spam threads aren't being merged into each other.

    The difficulty of "balancing" has increased drastically, not that vapers will be satisfied at any stage unless everyone can all win all the time. Nowadays there's doff of every color, linked to lockboxes and cash purchases that can't be touched.

    "the final solution" sounds like something I read about in history class, PvP needs work and nobody is forcing you to do it.

    For starters, developers do not have moderation rights so yes, only mod's and the community team can actually do anything forum related.

    Secondly, your other thread was not merged at all it was flat out closed.

    Thirdly, opening a new thread that a mod has closed is never good idea.

    Fourthly - The "final solution" as you so put it isn't a final solution and this kind of thread has many like it already. Why certain threads are merged and why others aren't are not up for debate (as it's discussing moderation). There ARE some threads that need to be merged I'm sure. That said, since 99% of the forums don't report things it's basically 2 mods vs 1000+ posts a day spanning at least 200 threads.

    Kinda a bit overloaded ya know? ;)

    Anywho as I closed the other one as these kinds of discussions will not lead anywhere fun (and will just lead to warnings), this thread is also being closed.

    PvP can be saved and worked on, when it'll happen who knows but I'd rather have SOME pvp in this game than none.
