Well, makes a bit sense, doesnt it. When firing on everything in sight, you'll hit it, but not necessarily where you want to hit it. Its a shame it makes sense, but only because its broken ^^

But that's the thing - you can still miss - the 100% to-hit and ignoring Accuracy Overflow only comes about because you've got a 100% chance to-hit the target for acquisition - not to do any damage.
There are four targets in front of you, you have no target selected - triggering FAW means that two targets will be selected. Those two targets are selected (100% chance to-hit the target as the selected target). The shots are fired. They all miss.
Sure, they're likely to hit - but they can miss if the target is moving, etc, etc, etc.
It's literally just the targeting component that is autohit. It picks X as Target A, there's 100% chance that X will be Target A because X was picked to be Target A. Thus, Accuracy Overflow cannot come into play because there was the autohit component.
Believe it's tied into the FX angle...can't remember - don't feel like hunting down the posts from the devs talking about it, meh...just wish they'd fix it.

Well, seeing as one Dev said it would be magic too him I doubt it will be fixed soon, if ever.
People keep asking me what i could do with a starcruiser/mirror starcruiser. so i threw the Green Knight build onto it and did a quick ISE.
22.5k DPS without getting a GDF. It should hit 25-27k with a good GDF.
Your all welcome.
Hi, couldn't get to the log file. Did Dropbox drop the file?
So are there other things to consider to make this build work, like special DOffs?
I normally run Mk XI [acc]x2 Plasma beams and am looking to upgrade a bit. I see Romplas MkXII CrtDx2 VR's in the build, between Romulan Plasma and Fleet Plasma which are worth going for?

Really, on CSV, too? TS isn't really "broken", since Torp Spread is an auto-hit attack, and therefore does not use accuracy in any way, but CSV also?
Question: Given that this ship carries no attack pattern, isn't it entirely dependent on parasiting off the rest of the group and cannot do much on its own?

if you fly a 20k ship in an ISE with a Recluse; the 5x APB3 from the Recluse will net you 2.5-3k extra DPS. it's a lot less if you do less than 20k DPS. if you do less than 10k DPS you won't even notice the difference between a run with a Recluse and a run without.
so how much do you think you'd get from 1 copy of APB1?
Sooo, runing with 2 would be -> 59,4 and 70,6, with 3 -> 89,1 and 105,9 and so forth? Or do dimishing returns play there role here as well?
Sorry for asking, just wanted claryfication. I know You probablly answered this more than fiew times on this forums.
For quite some time I noticed that runs with multiple APB yeld a much higher dps for everyone in the team than runs with no APB or with people that use APO. That is why I am always so suprised that most people use APO over APB or even run without any AP.

Its the same why dmg x3-weapons bring a lot of money, its more obvious what they do and so ppl think they are good. APO also features a long list of buffs, while APB does only one thing. So you can easily think, APO is far superior, when in fact, its not regarding dps.

My fleetmates and I ran Infected normal with all mirandas once. It was tough, but we completed it and got the bonus. We decided that Infected elite might be too much. I understand there are low-level PVP groups so maybe this isn't totally, laughably wacko......
What DPS could you get in a miranda? How about a constitution cruiser?

It's one of the reasons I wish they'd split FAW and provide all three directed attacks with three possible special attacks.
CRF: +RoF/+Dmg
CSV: +Targets/+Dmg
HY: +Dmg/+Dmg
TS: +Targets/+Dmg
BO: +Dmg/+Dmg
FAW: +RoF/+Targets/+Dmg
I'd like a +Dmg/+Dmg for Cannons, +RoF/+Dmg for Torps, and FAW to be split into a +RoF/+Dmg and +Targets/+Dmg.
Then one could do a Beam Rapid Fire of sorts with DBBs while not losing out on Accuracy Overflow.

There can be no proof offered of the Gal-R being the least bit viable...the forums won't stand for it!
hmmm... tempting *evil smile*
pfffft, i messed up the first run with the Gal-R and only got 18k DPS. it was a first run/shakedown so hopefully better results on the 2nd run.
Valdus | Charn | Costello | Typhus | Thyran
2nd run... was at 28k then i popped. ended the run at 23k DPS.
No, no...it's a Gal-R...it's supposed to be 1.8k, 2.8k, then 2.3k. All the threads say so! :P

29.7% increase in damage while up - with standard 9 in SAP.
35.3% with 9 SAP, 3x Inspirational, and Rom Engines.
