I have never been more excited for cardboard.

Anyone know of a store that sells the lenses? Anyone try it out yet? Make your own? Reactions? Comments?

Speechless about it but so quietly excited as well. I can just imagine all the Android apps which would clamor to use the technology. Guess we would need a bluetooth controller though to make it useful.

Edit: Check the PDF for a link which gives more assembly instructions and a link to the developers site which includes a list of stores to buy the lenses needed: https://developers.google.com/cardboard/

Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

Considering the quality of the google chromebook I'm not at all surprised.

Here I had thought from the title that "Google Cardboard" was a hilariously low-production-value version of "Google Glass" or something. :D

I'm still waiting on the cardboard for the thing, but I downloaded the app and looked around. I was most impressed with a 3d virtual tour of Versailles and the ability to look around the world in google maps. The potential of killer apps is big.
