Jem'Hadar Hanger Attack ship

Hi guys and gals

So i have a Jem'Hadar Dreadnaught carrier and i know it used to be that you also had to have the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship (which i dont have) to be able to use the attack ships in your hanger.. however

Today i noticed that in the dilithium store, the description of the attack ship doesnt say anything about needing both anymore.

So does anybody know if you still need to have both the ships in order to use the attack ships in your hanger. Just dont want to spend that much dilithium (32,500) on the hanger ship then not be able to use it.

Any help on this would be great.

    You do need both ships.

    Yep, still need both. It won't let you buy it until you do.

    Alas, it would be nice to have a more reasonable venue to obtain these (the only frigates possible for FEDs) but nope gotta have the most expensive ship in the game to have hangar pets of it...

    400m EC+ for a ship you have no intention to use, and only for the purpose of being able to BUY a Carrier's unique Frigate is pretty douchey. And Rodenberry help you if you intend to play the next JHAS promo / lottery / Cryptic Cash Grab (which should be 2.5 months away from now... they like doing this in quarters) as a means of acquiring the JHAS.

    It's stupid. For the Vo'Quv to get a BOP hangar unit, the player is not required to buy the playable B'Rel Retrofit. For the JHDC to have to require the playable JHAS is just pure asinine.

    ^This sums it up pretty well. If you're thinking of buying a JDread and must have elite JHAS pets, don't do it. Grab a Recluse instead.
