they have DPS, sure enough. I even stood off and let them do their thing. but I didn't get anything extra than I normally would have... a battery here a component there.

am I doing something wrong? Are they not suppose to give me extra goodies?

They do, and the advanced ones I use even get you contraband. The "steal rate" got seriously nerfed a while back though, badly enough I usually just carry marauders instead now. Used to get a ton of loot when I first started using them over a year ago.

When Risa came out they changed slavers because people were exploiting them. Now they are performing at best half of what they were doing and that's when they are working (changes mean they won't work in certain situations). Supposedly they won't get loot off indestructible targets.

they will but it's not something that your going to see in the short term. long missions of just blowing stuff up helps but it's something that tends to happen when your not looking for it. like a pot of water boiling. you look at it, it seems to be doing nothing. stop paying attention and suddenly it's overflowing. granted it's not going to be quite that dramatic but your be cleaning up then realize you don't know where you got a few things.

and getting blue will speed it up. I rarely use the bops on my vo'quv one it takes to long to launch new ones and over time the extra little bit of loot has turned into alot.
