In the episode "Chain of Command", Picard was captured by Cardassians, and tortured for information. His tormentor tried to break him by confronting him with four bright lights, and insisting that he say there were five. (This is a known method - if you can get your subject to agree to something that's clearly in contravention of reality, you can start to chip away at their sense of self.)
As a side note,the focus of fans on that confrontation is generally on Picard, and yes, Sir Patrick Stewart did a right marvelous job in the role. But it is my opinion that it would never have succeeded without the equally incredible, and insidious input from across the table by David Warner as Gul Madred.

I am the sort of person and after seeing the youtube links (and remembering that I actually DID see the episode long ago AAAND love Love LOVE the torture episode from Babylon 5) ... I'd buy the shirt if I had the cash as well.
