We have still placed no resources in this project. The Dev.s have done nothing to correct the situation in spite of being asked to do so. As I would expect, they do not care about customer service or customer relations. Everything stated as to why one cannot put a cancel button on the projects is founded in poor logic at best and cancellations as an attempted exploit cannot actually benefit a player in any meaningful way - kind of like the man in 1870 with millions in Confederate currency.

Your challenging my common sense logic?

I farm nws, drop out of wave 10 and requeue, I'm in a t5 fleet. If I could, I would slot projects and drop them after donating all my thousands of marks. Then I'd go farm more makes and repeat the process.

I would then turn all these credits into engineering very rare doff packs and try and get lucky with technicians and warp core engineers. I think it's about 90k credits per hour...maybe more.

At any rate, it's a bad idea...think about it and realize it is....stop holding your fleet for ransom, you may start losing people

To quote a Rabbi, "If sense were common, then there would be enough evidence to prove it, "rite it down, and teach it. Therefore, sense must not be so common." I do not accept the existence of common sense. There is proof and there are those anecdotal experiences which those who fail to apply science resort to once they have encountered a significant loss in needs.
I farm nws, drop out of wave 10 and requeue,
Anyone caught doing this in my fleet would be removed for lack of ethical behavior.
I would then turn all these credits into engineering very rare doff packs and try and get lucky with technicians and warp core engineers. I think it's about 90k credits per hour...maybe more.
So, what you are telling me is that Cryptic is too lazy to do the right thing for the right reasons - support correct actions and correct mechanics which enhance play for ethical players and ban players who exploit mechanics for unethical gains. Got it!

Well we can cancel rep projects and we were told long ago that we would be able to cancel fleet projects soon...soo...

Btw OP I have the same issue. I'd love to cancel out stationing a tactical officer and bump up my starbase upgrade...if cryptic would actually just add a small little button.

Actually, we were told that we'd never be able to cancel fleet projects.

You're just going to have to suck it up and fill that one.
