I'm sure this idea has been talked about in the past, but can someone please tell me why medical consoles slots have been "clearly" overlooked in this game.
Currently medical consoles are consider science consoles, but I would like to suggest that we split the two groups and open up a new chapter in star trek online history by adding medical slots for every ship.
I am of the opinion that the developers can first, "make it so" and second, have the wisdom to carefully allot each ship their due.
Please post your thoughts on this subject. I am interested to know what the entire star trek online fan base community thinks about this.
There are "Bio monitor" science consoles that increase your crew regeneration and resistance rate.
OP, I would suppoort that suggestion, although "crew" needs a big revamp in the first place. Right now, the devs even acknowledged that crew is a useless stat and I think they'd rather remove it completely than rework that outdated mechanic.

Consoles like biofunction monitor and the EMH console. Any console that supports crew life. I was thinking that the devs could create more consoles that support medical stuff.
The current game mechanics currently allow you to adequately operate a ship, though it may have no crew at all. Don't believe it? Run crystal catastrophe elite, keep the heals going and see if the crystal doesn't kill most or all of your crew. I've done it many times and had no crew at the end of the mission.
If the game mechanics change to reduce operation efficiency of some abilities, it could make sense to try to keep the crew alive. As of right now, there is no real need for it.
