Event Reputation Points

I have noticed for awhile now that for every event project that we complete, 100 Event Reputation points. Which has led me to wonder what are these points for? If they're not used for anything then why do we get them? If someone has an idea, then please enlighten me...because it has been bugging the hell out of me.

    I have been wondering this myself but I don't think it goes towards anything.....

    Best part of it? If you click the "More Info" tab, it gives you a little spiel, that says something like:

    "Event Reputation points add points to that Even Reputation" = Not particularly helpful.

    Then is says something like:

    "Sorry there are no events happening currently, check back soon (TM)" ... Riiiiggghhttt.

    Well, it says so straight up: It adds points to the event reputation. What do Event Reputation Points do? Well, as far as anyone can tell, NOTHING. But you can get points added to it anyway!

    Having event rep points is like being a billionaire in Monopoly money. It might be nice to look at, but it really doesn't amount to anything in the end.

    Point of order: This is actually wrong. It is not actually nice to look at at all, because you cannot actually look at it. The amount of Event Rep you have earned is not actually displayed anywhere.

    It's good to know that I am not the only one that has been wondering this for a while now. All I know that most event projects earn you about 100 points upon completion, but where does it go? As far as I can guess...down Q's ultra super deluxe multi-purpose crapper for omnipotent beings. If we're supposedly accumulating these points, I'd like to know what for and how much I've got stowed away. Hopefully a dev can answer this...but I won't be holding my breath..
