Currently rocking the undine counter command deflector and engines for the 2p 10% defense, +5 inertia and crazy boosts to the offense thanks to the deflector.

What is everyone using?
Chive on and prosper, eh?

    Just for Deflector/Engine combos?

    KHG/KHG
    Dyson/Dyson
    Nukara/Nukara
    AKHG/AKHG
    Borg/Borg
    Solanae/Solanae
    Omega/Omega
    Fluidic/Fluidic

    ;)

That wasn't very helpful was it...? I've got eight toons and they're rolling with eight different things.

    :P

Course, I've spent more time dorking around with Crafting on Tribble in the past couple of days than I've probably PvP'd in the past couple of weeks...hrmm.

    :(

And er...my reason for going with the Fluidic on that ship - er...wasn't based on any performance/stat stuff. That's the Guramba - green Javelin - Green Haywire - Green Disruptors - pseudo Green Elachi torp - so why not Green Deflector FX and Green Engine trails? The Green Guramba!

Think I'm going to take it and get blown up in Ker'rat for a bit...

My Scimitar uses Undine engines and deflector ad well (inertia bonus was a must). Though now that I stopped using torps for a while, or forever, I'm considering other options for deflector, like Omega Tachyon.

Fed uses Aegis engines and Deflector everywhere, Patrol, Avenger, Excelsior as primary examples. You can't imagine how epic the 2 piece together are great for a tac ship, especially if you don't want to go broke with farming. Plus the Graviton Aegis really gives you a boost to all the very needed skills to keep moving and have shield strength high. Some say "but it's old... crappy"... truth is it Aegis always worked like a charm. Only set 3 with shields sucks.

Meh, I'm too old for PvP...one fight and I feel like I need a nap.

edit: Heh, that's sad - that fight must have only lasted like 3 minutes... /facepalm.

Same here, probably it's just a FX matter :D

In all seriousness, mind you - this is what one gets from running the Fluidic Deflector/Engine...

    +5% Accuracy
+8.8 Starship Energy Weapons (+4.4% damage strength - Directed Energy Weapons)
+17.5 Starship Projectile Weapons (+8.75% damage strength - Projectiles)
+17.5 Starship Structural Integrity (+5.3% base hull)
+8.8 Starship Shield Systems (+2.7% base shield)
    +17.5 Starship Inertial Dampers (+/-8.8% anti-effect/duration)
    +26.2 Starship Particle Generators (varies)
    +5 Inertia
+5% Defense & +5% Defense (total of +10%, and unlike 2pc Aegis does not require movement to get the +10%)
Speed/Turn - it's a Hyper-Impulse Engine (complex calculations I'm not sure I know how to do, frtoaster around?)
+12 Antiproton Damage Bonus Resistance Rating (check out rbaker82's formula - it's like magic)

Really depends on what I'm flying. Just like everyone else. Right now, Julius is rocking the Nukara set to vape (got tired of Proton), Aurelius runs KHG shield and engines for the torp boost, with an Elite Fleet Deflector for a bit of sci cooldown, Marcellus runs Borg for now, until I grind out the marks for Undine, Rujan runs Adapted MACO Shield and Engine with a Elite Fleet Deflector to lower cooldowns on Sci abilities and Hadrian runs Breen because he's a fresh character.

I generally grind out different sets for different characters and mix and match as the situation requires.
