Please no more Powercreep Cryptic

My team played a private match today 2 escort 3 sci VS 2 escort 3 sci, took 30 min to get a kill and the kill was a lucky kill cause the guy was bored, like the first one who get bored will lose ... all team abileties dont share CD when it was perfect befor that update and new tier 5 undine, ... cmon please Cryptic play your game intenssivly (PVP 5 man team) befor implent somthing like that into the game.. its ruinning the highend team pvp...

    I'm sorry but I have some terrible news, more power creep is coming because if it didn't everyone but the true diehards would leave. and there just isn't enough diehard fans.

    cut cross repairing ( ships are not healed ) by 50%...............That will spice things up

    i'm not sure what powercreep has to do with this... :confused:

    Because cryptic increased the amount of healing possible. Allowing every healing ship. (in this case they had 3 sci ships likely most of them had all 3 team heals... as well as escorts packing sci teams). Undine Tier 4 rep adds a bunch more passive shield resistance. Undine T5 is another free shield heal and resist.

    I would say though at the same time they reduced the amount of Passives people have active all the time. Overall I find healing to be down to be honest.

    To me this sounds like 2 dino teams both playing like this was S7. The meta has changed adjust and your matches won't last 5 hours.

    We did, actually. Didn't bring a vaper either. Once we changed it in match, we won handily. None of us on either side ran bull**** clickable consoles either or TRIBBLE.

    The team cooldown change was the most stupid thing Cryptic did though. It ruined a lot of "games" possible within the game.

    No doubt... and I agree they have made the game a lot more click it or be annoyed. I would say it is very much on purpose to make even the old school of the old school pvpers cave and say run the clickies... I would say that. However I just really doubt they are that intelligent. :) I feel you guys though that is what they have done. We can try to have gentlemanly games and agree to not bring almost everything... all we are doing is mostly making it more likely that games drag on and on.

    I guess the one positive you could take away... is that when teams are built the same like that with everyone playing very much the same roles on opposite sides. The game stagnates... I guess that is balance in a way. You guys had to change and play an opposing strategy to win.

    i think its likely, especially post expansion, for duel LTC ships releases to be the norm, so get used to the idea of more just beyond typical fleet/lockbox level ships like the palisade, nicor, dromias and patrol refit.

    would be nice if they reevaluated all the doffs that aren't tech doffs, and creep them up to their level, so AtB builds can be marginalized.

    PvP lost a good portion of intruiging tactical depth when Cryptic removed shared cooldowns on team abilities. Good teams were able to count the opponents team abilities and eventually create holes within their defense to exploit. That entire tactial "mini-game" basically got smashed overnight. It felt like PvP got partially lobotomized...

    It's old news though, Cryptic won't roll back that patch ever.

    None of this should really surprise anyone.
    Has been heading in this direction since LoR.

    That said I like the way things are going atm.
    I gave up on the ques a while back.

    I go to Ker'rat for my PvP fix now days.
    Much more enjoyable.

    The problem with Ker'rat is that a high end team will basically own whatever zone they enter regardless of the opposing factions numbers. While it can be fun to take over and chase off the feddies it always ends the same way, someone crying about op this and op that and then someone makes a shut down ker'rat thread. :D

    Arena is still the best place for team play. Balanced 5v5 matches are the most fun and challenging things you can do in this game.

    I hope you realize you're talking to a solid brick wall here.

    You also might want to change the behavior portrayed in your forum name if you're to even remotely hope that Cryptic chills with the power creep for a while. :P Which won't happen. ;) Ever.
