That would be the dumb people that like to go "Me shoot Dino, me good, me run next Dino. We are smart, we make Dilithium.".

I could see in my head a vision of a player just now walking hunched over
dragging their nuckles on the ground. :)

As an Army medic I was rather startled by the title of this thread

you should have thought a lot before selecting the profession. Now that red cross in white on your uniform shouts "shoot me" to snipers in a battle conflict :D

But here's the thing: Shooting the medics ALSO grants you your tag.
No, it doesn't. I have just tested it: killed only medics and made sure that neither me nor my BOs fired a single shot at the Rex, then received no reward when that silo was captured.
Killing the medics is useful to prevent failure, but only shooting their big guard dog will earn you rewards.

So I've just come from a disaster of a Battlezone match, and not a single person but me was bothering to hit the medics. How stupid can people be? I mean it's just basic sense that if you're not killing medics you're losing the game, isn't it?
Power creep exists in ground combat as much as space. In fact, with the change to the trait system, kit system and lockbox traits, end-game ground combat can get silly. One of my tac characters can kill the V-Rex in 30-45 seconds by himself. With that character, killing medics is inefficient.

It could be that you ran into a group of players that believe they can kill the V-Rex that efficiently, but for whatever reason, failed to execute.

And this is what needs to be fixed. Really, they should make it so that you get a full reward if you shot either dinos or medics and all 3 went down. This would make players invested in making sure that the full zone succeeded.

That's why I am kinda glad that we can' refine more than 8000 dil.
That means you can have as much as you want but you can't make more than 8000 units out of them
