My dearest friends and colleages. Over the past few years we have been apart of a franchise and dream that has shaped societys view upon many different subjects. Subjects like racial equality, to government restraint (the prime directive) and more. I myself have learned alot from it, to include patience and forgiveness. Today my patience is for the next content to be released. These past twelve months the empire has been blessed in my view. Thhe recognition of these blessings is owed to my fellow gamers, and the developers alike.
You the gamer have been the eyes and voice of it all. Many have listened and experienced were the game has fallen short. Some have voiced our concerns to those who can change it. Others have directed thier energy into keeping thier perspective passions alive, be it the less popular factions or PvP. The vocal gamer who has spoken out has accepted the burden and label of dissident. Those gamers who hold opposing views should be recognised for keeping us honest, themselves taking up a burden and label of traitor. I pray you both stay true to your convictions and views no matter how they may change.
The silent gamer who did not speak out still holds value to the accomplishments we have enjoyed and will continue to recieve. It has been argued that Klingon verse Federation (KvF) PvP has deminished. Now this may be true but the very presence and use of the minority factions or even simple PvP shows viability. The fact that you maintain and improve your own characters in these factions prove a valued population to be catered to as well. Simply driving on in the face of adversity with no cry of foul play proves your refusal of being viewed as a victum. This adds a positive meaning to what seemed like a forgotten aspect of this great game. Always looking toward the future and never forgetting how far we have come.
Though the unsung hero here are the developers. These gods of numbers and codes who created the ability for me to be apart of this great franchise also deserve our recognition and encouragement. They have the most difficult job of looking toward the future, while fixing and adjusting what has already come. I believe thay have recognised were improvements can be made, and are currently working to bring fairness back to the two factions. They must listen and read about our lamentations with little addulation for any progress made. It is to you I must appologise. The hate and rage I held was wrong. I was raised better as a child and trained better as a soldier. I am fortunate to not have put it in words, what I intended to say would have projected the wrong idea and accomplished nothing.
The progress made so far is great. The Mogh battlecruiser is an excellant vessel, with a weapons load out that was greatly needed. The raider bonus gives us reason to use our Bird of Preys again. The extension of the Klingon story line gives added enjoyment to the gaming experience. The Solanae vessels have alot of potential and was presented to the public as a whole. I recognise the difficulty of developing new content and my best wishes and hopes go with you. I trust that you will continue to be fair as we continue this journey together.

I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I read your post and started hearing the STO F2P trailer song in the background.
It is for all of us. My praise goes to the Klingon and Romulan factions, also the PvP community. It is a simple message of gratitude. I named it "Keep the Faith," because no other title seemed to strike me. "Living on a Prayer," by the same artist may have worked though.

Apparently the OP is saying that... It's been a long road Getting from there to here
It's been a long time
But His time is finally near
And He can feel the change in the wind right now
Nothing's in his way
And they're not gonna hold him down no more
No they're not gonna hold him down
Cause he's got faith of the heart
he is going where his heart will take him
He's got faith to believe, He can do anything
He's got strength of the soul
And no one's gonna bend or break him
He can reach any star, He's got faith
He's got faith, faith of the heart
It'll never get to five seasons.
