Would someone be so kind as to post a picture of the two new Undine player ships with various sets equipped? I just got a Nicor in a lockbox, and I'm mulling over whether to keep it or sell it. Seeing equipped sets would help me make that decision.
If your decision hinges on how the ship looks rather than how the ship performs, won't you be happier in the long run with the scads of EC you'll get for that ship?
Not that it is a bad ship, but if you find out you just hate flying it, you'll wish you sold it. If it's all about the looks, let's be honest, there are lots of ships that look better. Say, for example, any other ship.
"Logic is a little tweeting bird chirping in a meadow. Logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell BAD." - Spock
Well since you already have it, copy your character to the tribble server, open the pack there and test it.
If you like it open it on holodeck, if not sell it.
My question has a roleplaying reason behind it. The Undine are supposedly unable to be assimilated, and I was curious as to whether or not this meant the Borg set doesn't have visuals on it, and if so, what do those visuals look like.

Actually, the Borg set looks comically large on Undine vessels from what I've seen. I think this was designed on purpose as some kind of satirical commentary, because this game doesn't have enough of that, intentional or not.

Through the course of the game, the Borg do actually manage to assimilate the Undine. The Borg Cube that figured out how was destroyed, thankfully, but that's still proof of concept: Borg nanites can assimilate the Undine, and presumably their technology as well, somehow.
Also, considering that it was a Starfleet ship that figured out how to use Borg nanites to hurt the Undine, it stands to reason that one could also figure out how to make Borg tech compatible with Undine biotech.
I mean, after all, the Lobi Consortium was apparently able to make it so that our own technology was compatible enough with Undine biotech that we could proficiently operate one of their bioships.... >_>
"There will never be enough blood to wash away my need for vengeance! A single world...I could destroy a million worlds and it would not be enough! Your existence is an insult to the memory of my people! I will continue my fight, even if I must fight alone!"
The whole anti-assimilation thing seems to be out the window now.
I also feel it worth mentioning that the Nicor has two appearances - both the iconic Nicor as well as the.. Dactylus(?). The latter is the NPC variant that always opens with the Megalaser attack.

Also Spaceball 1 and the Death Star were built by the Lobi Crystal Consortium, you know.

A Megalaser attack that destroys planets yet barely scratches player shields
Didn't get a picture but did see one earlier today with the Nukara shield on it. Given that it already has a very triangular shape to begin with, took a moment to realize that it WAS a Nicor and not a Tholian ship. Very cool.
people wonder why the undine are attacking the alpha quadrant....
little clue being the casual combination of borg and undine tech, when the borg themselves havnt managed to do this.
I'm satisfied with the explanation that it was the players who defeated the original assimilated Undine in the one story mission, that's a good enough explanation as any.
Does anyone have this or the Dormias? I'm curious as to what you think of the performance. I'm leaning towards ditching my Oddy in favor of the Nicor, since it has a great layout.

Remmember you can always disable the set visuals by right clicking on the shield/engines/deflector and selecting "disable visuals"
