Event Rep - let us trade-in the excess of Pearls

The account-wide ship discount was a huge move in the right direction when it comes to making events more alt-friendly. I really hope we're gonna see a similar thing for any future events that would involve "working" for ships.

BUT...

Cryptic, please consider some sort of additional project that would allow us to exchange our excess of Pearls/Photos/Qmendations for something. For example, add a project that would exchange 40 Pearls for let's say 40 Favors (preverably more...), which would ONLY become available once the character already purchased any of the event ships.

Not only this would encourage people to run the daily even after they've got their ship, but it would also serve as an additional source of Favors/Ornaments or other currencies.

I mean, you've already done it with the Crystalline and Mirror Events, so why not add it to Summer/Winter/Anniversary events as well? As it stands any excess of these currencies becomes useless till next year.

I don't expect anything to be added this year, but please consider such projects for future events.

Can't you just save them for next year? I had like 26 left over from last year and donated them to the new project.

You can. Which would make me personally never ever bother with about 7 years worth of Winter Event races as a result, as I've already got over 1000 Q Photos from the last two years stocked per character...

I mean, sure, saving those for future years is fine and all, but I believe having an alternative for these would make these dailies more worthwhile. As I've said - Cryptic already done this with Crystalline and Mirror events - we could save any excess of shards/transporters for the next event, or we could instead trade them for additional dilithium and mark rewards.

With Summer event I would gladly do this daily if I could get more Favors instead of Pearls, although anything would do - Marks, Dilithium, even GPL. I just think having an alternative is always good.
