Undine Reputation Space set.

First of, Sorry if this has been pointed out somewhere on the forums before, but I cannot seem to find it on the search engine, so I'll go ahead and rant here.

So I recently finished the Undine rep space set on my KDF toon, And was pretty exited about the engine and the warp core specially, as it says they counter both the effects of flying on fluidic space, and since I find it extremely annoying to fly thru the Undine stf, sliding everywhere I was more than welcoming the undine set.

To my surprise, I was flying even worse than without it!, I slid everywhere, Could hardly control my ship, and ended up with a terrible disapointing experience from the Undine set.

Is this how its supposed to be? Are the counteracting effects barely noticeable? I expected to atleast have a more enjoyable run with the full set. Much to my surprise, I rather find the set rather lacking, on what its supposed to be made for.
