I am doing this little write-up as a shout-out to Ilhank who gave a lot of input on this plugin. Since I don't actively play STO but noticed that some friends were still interest in the plugin, I will continue to support the plugin.
The FES Advanced Combat Tracker was written from scratch by referencing the v2020 listed on the Hilbert Guide. Its approach is a bit different, since my aim was to separate the shield and armor damage values. Yet combine them for the single source of the damage. This required adding new columns to the Advance Combat Tracker display and in the process yield accurate critical hit values. Therefore this plugin is not compatible with the ones listed on the Hilbert Guide. You can find the old plugins on the Hilbert Guide website:
http://hilbertguide.com/ACT.html
The plugin was designed to be able to do experiments to test the most effective builds. This was needed to obtain accurate information from the combat logs. Previous STO ACT Plugins had issues with critical hit accuracy or inaccurate values related to resistance. It was therefore difficult to study effective resistance methods. And understanding the impact of critical damage relative to accuracy was not always that clear. The FES ACT Plugin was an attempt to master these issues.
The features of this plugin can be found here:

If you have any issues with the plugin then please post them here:

If your issue is related to parsing log files, could you please include a copy of the log file in the post in the Q&A section listed above.
There might be some issues with how the plugin parses some data. I do recall in a passing conversation, that someone mentioned that pets of pets might not accurately be categorized. Also refracting beams might also appear in other players category. I am not sure if this is still an issue since these damages might be very rare. Since I am not actively playing the game I wouldnt know. If you do have any such issue you can make a post on the Q&A section here:
