Greetings, Captains! You're listening to Episode 176 of Priority One Podcast, the premier Star Trek Online podcast! This episode was recorded on Thursday, May 29th, 2014 and published on Monday, June 2nd, 2014 at PriorityOnePodcast.com!

Unfortunately Elijah's still held behind enemy lines, captivated by those green girls, so Cookie has launched an offensive to go and turn the green girls pink and get Elijah back! So with Elijah and Cookie out, we're joined by Tony, Jayce and James!

In this week's Trek It Out, we take a look and find it's not only in a book but also on Kickstarter! In STO News we bring you all the lastest from around the galaxy including the Risa Summer Event and the Shuttle Weekend! Then Professor Jayce takes us back to school and we learn how to cover our asses as he teaches us all about defence, before finally we open Hailing Frequencies and hear what's incoming from you, our listeners!

Topics Discussed
This week's Community Question
  • What are your favourite active space duty officers? Are they the crack, uber-elite min-max squad? Or do they fit the flavour and backstory of your ship and crew?

You know the episode picture on the webpage has episode 175's picture? ;)

RR: Nice Lavar is getting RR back. It's a really positive program.

Risa: arenologist (Sand Geologist?) Somehow I don't get the impression that name is correct. You think Sand Castles would fall under Art Sculpting than geology. Perhaps the P1 team could do a little digging.

DOFFs: Space, I like Damage Control with Warp Core to help out Emergency Powers. And on offensive builds, that projectile officer helps. But with the Science ships, gotta load up those Sci DOFFs to make that Grav Well turn into the Black Hole of Doom.

Ground, Tactical, Security DOFFs for Tacticals and turn those 2 little buddies into an army of troublemakers. Engineering, gotta have Explosive and Armory DOFFs and turn that single turret and mortar into a 6 pack of trouble. And even better, Engineering BOFFs with turrets are affected two and you potentially could have a little defense with tons of turrets. Science, debuffs and heals are the way to go. But that one DOFF that creates that Grav Well on the ground, can make things interesting.

I'm being serious guys, I honestly enjoyed RoTF, and it is indeed my favorite of the Michael Bay TF movies. And I loved the derp twins, accusations of racism be damned. Also, RoTF had the best toy line of the 4 movies, though the presence of the Dinobots in Age of Extinction may change that.

Never knew having an unusual opinion was considered a troll now. =(

I have 32 crews, I just try getting enough to run all my ships.
