Season 9 has pushed me away from STO

I have been a lifetime member since the game went live in 2010, and an avid player throughout. After working through all the reputations for six toons, Season 9 has taken away so much of what I worked for. This was the last straw for me.

I won't be coming back unless this change is reversed. Most of our fleet members feel the same way, and our fleet channel's been pretty much empty since about a week after Season 9 went live.

I will watch this thread to hear that this massive reputation proc change gets reverted. I won't be playing until it is.

    I don't understand what has been taken from you... Maybe you could share your unhappiness extensively?

    The reputation threes are now easier to do, so it's better for our alts. The only thing what we have "lost" are some passive skills, but it's better that way, because the game gets more balance, at least that's my opinion.

    The problem with the old Reputation System was that it had infinite power creep. STO has to keep the content possible for people that just got to level 50 and that makes the game far too easy for veterans. The power creep caused by the Reputation System is not noticeable now, but when we have 15 Reputations and 60 passive powers, then it would have been too much.

    While I understand your position, at this time they will most likely never revert the reputation system back to what it was. That said, since this is basically an I quit thread and those are not allowed this thread is closed. Since you're a lifetime member you will still gain zen while away so when you do return you can pick up right where you left off. :)
