Had heard rumblings that while the old standard weapon procs only rolled their chance per salvo, some of the newer stuff like Protonic Polarons or Bio-Molecular weapons were per-shot instead. Has anyone tested to see whats what (particularly with the bio-moleculars), or is everything still per-salvo only and its just the usual rumormongering?
Tetyon Glider is per pulse.
DEM is per pulse.
Omega Graviton Amplifier is a per pulse proc.
Not sure with the Proton proc. It's a 25% chance on a crit for the Protonic Polarons as well as the Solanae DHC on the DSDs. It's a 50% chance on a crit for the Proton Experimental Weapon.
The Bio-Molecular Incubation reads more like a standard per cycle proc...
IMO all weapons should be based off of per shot, and not based on per cycle.
This would eliminate huge confusion, and better simplify coding.
It would certainly give dual cannons a niche at least. Would you like more firepower or extra procs? (The reason I posted the original question). Oh well, foiled again.

I have no experience with the bio molecular. But being as its a plasma like debuff...I'd say it's per cycle

Yeah, the 25%/50% chance on crit wouldn't make for it happening very often for how little it does...
edit: Would that change from per cycle to per pulse have been with the January 30, 2014 (Season 8.5) Release Notes...?

Praetor of the -RTS- Romulan Tal Shiar fleet!
Seems fair to me.
