"Crystaline Refraction" ?

Anybody else got this?

My ship has a constant buff wherever i am, No idea what's giving it to me...


I've got none of the Nukara Space Traits, or even any of the space gear equipped, And i tried equipping everything but i still have it :confused:



Not annoyed by the free thing, Just puzzled!

    I keep having it too in any non-sector space map, everytime after a random amount of time on the map. It's not mentioned in the passive list and removing my sets and even my consoles doesn't do anything.

    Did you save the Nukara-gear in one of your loadouts? Wouldn't be surpised if that one is (even more) broken again.

    It's not this, my other load out is full fleet phasers (I only made the others so i could use the green ones)


    My shuttle is equipped with omega gear, so i don't think it's coming from that either..

    Only thing I can figure is the t5 Tholian rep power? Since it's called Refracting Tetryon Cascade and you have the power in your tool bar.

    It's from nukara reputation shield AFAIK. Might be Omega?

    Hmm, good point. When the servers are back on i'll try unequipped it and seeing what happens.

    Although, i've had that power since late July and i've only just noticed the buff (pretty sure it wasn't there at the start of s9)

    On my side, I can confirm that no, I haven't saved loadouts with the shield or any Nukara gear. However, I have one slotted in one of my parked, inactive ships. I'm gonna see if removing it and putting it in the bank or inventory will make the icon go away.

    Definitely not it. Refracting Tetryon Cascade is a toolbar power, not a passive.

    You also get that shield passive from solenance shield. Maybe it's equipped on a shuttle or somewhere...

    I don't have the Solanae shield on that character atall..


    And my shuttle has XI omega gear, so it's not that

    So, I ran some tests and it seems to happen if you have the Nukara shield on one of your ships, even the docked ones. Moving the shield in the inventory doesn't make the icon appear.

    Seems to explain it for me, as I have the Nukara shield on a docked ship.

    Off-topic: How did you get the BOff GUI off to the right of the power tray?? I would SO love to be able to do that!!

    Like has been said, it's due to having a Nukara shield on any of your docked ships. However, I wonder, as the buff pops up everywhere, if the Refraction, which has a chance to return damage to the source, actually *works* without having the shield equipped. If so, it's a rather more pressing bug to fix than just an icon.

    Personally I haven't noticed it proccing at all for me.

    Or if it does, it isn't really doing much. Parses haven't seemed to show it, but I could also just be unlucky.

    go to options and then rearrange UI or the like you can move any window in the gui from there.
