PvE bots

Last two days I've had bot users following me. I've reported them all but what is Perfect World going to do about this? It's really annoying someone tag following on me with their ability arming on it's own with nothing to shoot at like repairing in Gorn Minefield. They just do laps around my ship activating beam overload. It's ruining the game. Not so perfect at all. If I get another bot i'm going to record it "names hidden so no naming and shaming) and post a follow on link... The bot program needs deleting...


I've posted in PvP because I didn't see a PvE version to this thread on feedback.

    No reason why wouldn't keep beam overload armed. And if they're that crudely following you around mashing spacebar, enjoy your free first place. Beats having people that steal your stuff from you and turn the entire exercise into a waste of time.

    Here is the dealio cryptic now that large fleets are cicrculateing bots ,they allso now they thay are useing to make ships and other goodies..... They allso aware that these groups of super macro user and boaderline hacks are killing the game.... whats truly sad its the oldest players doing this... today i saw in open chat them bragging over a 5000 fleet mark hack wtf really cryptic........ they do have vids on ine where fleets are useing these botts

    HA thats funny. a script that cycles a key bind and follows the closest player

    What does this have to do with PvP again ?

    I guess its PvE Forced PvP is that it ?

    We should have followbot vs followbot pvp. The one player per team isn't allowed to shoot, only target, buff, and debuff, for his followbot minions. May the best bot win!

    I saw a guy get about 30 seconds into wave 9 of NWS just using his ship and 4 bots (I'm fine with it in private queues). I was on TS with him and just kept watching the flyby's on my screen as his bots got their accolades. Seriously, if bots can do it, why can't we have engaging NPC's?

    Reason being it's a bot. So the computer is controlling the ship while the owner is doing other stuff like on another game or even watching something. You should google about bots on STO as there is a video showing a bot user that is not even touching his computer... As for the waste of time part all they seem to use is Polaron beams with tiny DPS which in turn wastes everyone else's time as it takes longer to do when there is a bot tag following.

    i believe /kill is the console command to TRIBBLE over the offending AFKer

    Remove the follow feature from space gameplay. Is it even remotely useful for anything else?

    Lol, NWS is a bit of a joke anyway. I stand there with my not-so-great tac ship looking south, throw a GW+aftershocks for good measure, and pew pew all the ships with CSV. The warp core breaches help blast everything to hell.
