Dyson Field Stabilizing Singularity Core

Good morning everyone,
I don't have the required reputation yet to view it and the wiki implies that it converts some of your weapon power to shield power, but the image on the wiki doesn't state that. Does anyone have the stats handy and be willing to post it? I'm trying to find a decent singularity core for my Scimitar and if I need to farm dyson marks, I'd like to get a jump on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

Unless you're aiming for the set bonuses, you're better off with an Elite Fleet Core. You will find those at a Tier 3 Fleet Dilithium Mine.

No, the singularity core doesn't do that, only the matter-antimatter-version does. Did you perhaps mistake the stats of the Dyson Field Stabilizing Warp Core for the Dyson Field Stabilizing Singularity Core?

Ingame tooltip of the singularity core shows me the same stats as the wiki shows URL="http://sto.gamepedia.com/Dyson_Joint_Command_Technologies#Dyson_Field_Stabilizing_Singularity_Core"]here[/URL (values for shield regeneration and impulse thrusters bonus depend on skills etc.)
Dyson Field Stabilizing Singularity Core Mk XII
    Very Rare Singularity Core
    Bind On Pickup
    Vice Admiral
Values do not reflect skills or other modifiers

+5 to 15 Shield Power, based on your Singularity charge level

    Maximum Warp Factor 10

    +17.5 Starship Electro-Plasma System

    (Improves Power Transfer Rate)

    50% Reduced Cooldown on Transwarp

    +0.2 Slipstream Speed bonus

    __ Starship Impulse Thrusters

    (Improves Speed and Turn Rate)
(Based on 20% of your Starship Driver Coil skill)

    Singularity Shield Capacitor

Drains your Singularity power to augment your Shield Power.
    +28.1 Shield Regeneration
Gives up to 30 Shield Power based on your Singularity level.
    Repairs disabled shields

No the description on the wiki for both the anti-matter core and singularity core are the same. I assumed the picture was right, but wanted to make sure before I tried to get it.

    Game Description
The Dyson Field Stabilizing Singularity Warp Core is designed to improve combat effectiveness against the Voth by transferring a portion of your Weapon Power to your shields. Field Stabilizing Singularity Cores increase Shield Power level by +5 to +15, based on your Singularity charge level. Equipping multiple Dyson ship components apply extra improvements as the systems work in conjunction with one another.

bold was added for clarity. Thanks all!

edit: Never mind...yeah, they need to update the wiki. That's a trip. Even calling it a Singularity Warp Core...heh.

Fact is all cores are warp cores ('Singularity warp cores' and 'Matter/antimatter warp cores'). It's just noone wants to use the long 'matter/antimatter' moniker so the difference ends up being whether you use or omit the word 'warp'.

Either way, no singularity (warp) core should or does currently have the 'subsystem --> another subsystem' mod. That's reserved for (Matter/antimatter) warp cores.

It is just the common usage (both by Cryptic and players) and avoiding the potential confusion is all...a matter of consistency.

Well that point is well taken those cores with the + / % but wouldn't it be much better to say the core has 100% full power all ranges instead of sectioning each range by small +. Those with 100% full power all ranges seems to be a lot better. To much confusion out there with the cores. EPS is very important and some EPS consoles can't be used if you want to have better hull/shields you would have to weigh in the factors. Since the EPS boost can be on the some cores saying EPS then should go for that one.

    Heh.
Still, consistency in STO? They should have gone with 'Singularity' and 'M/AM' cores and there'd be no confusion.
