Hello, PvP forumwarrior community! :P

It's my birthday and I'm feeling generous, so I'll be hosting a little giveaway for you bunch.

Over the next few days, post and answer the following question:

If you could get one fleet ship for free, which one would you get, and what would you do with it?

I'll pick answers that I feel amuse me/are deserving/need the ship most/on whatever whim I have at the time, and I'll stick them into an RNG.

Winner gets 4 Fleet Ship Modules! Put your in-game handle in your post so I can send the prize through mail.

    TBH, I would sell the modules to get ec. I would use the ec to get some expensive boffs for my builds. My shiny new JHAS for example needs 2 attack pattern doffs who can go for >20mil each. Or I might rebuild my wells from a siphon build to a graviton build.

    (I got both those ships for free surprisingly enough, I'm not made of money)

    I'd buy the new Fleet KDF Science ship that they're coming out with because it's gonna be supper bosted to the maxxxxx!!!!!

    I would get a Fleet Kamarag.

    While I prefer the old D7 K'tinga looks, the Kamarag's boff setup is significantly better and the visuals are close enough to the K'tinga.

    That ship would replace the SciBortas on my Tactical. I'd be trading SA and some hull for awesome looks. Pewpewing like it's the 23rd century!

    I desperately need a Fleet Aquarius to fill out my dream-team premade. We already have another Aquarius and 3 D'kyrs (one can be interchanged with an engineer in a Fleet Galaxy-R). With this team composition we will be unstoppable, as our foes will be lulled into a hypnotic state of bemusement from whence they shall never recover until the killing blow has been struck.

    I already have a macro ready to go that will BFI, evasive, ram, and shout in Zone 'Attack Pattern Shon 7 Go!".

    I would grab a Fleet Long Range Science Vessel (a.k.a. Fleet Intrepid) and turn it into an insanely tanky (1.4x SM!), maneuverable (Base Turn 12 + Fleet RCS), FBP "porcupine" ship - just to TRIBBLE off all of the other FBP abusers who made me pop myself so gloriously since I started flying a BO3-equipped escort.

    My goal will be to troll Ker'rat and sector space searching for unsuspecting captains to lure into my evil trap. Then, after pretending to "fight" them with my OP phasers (I'll leave the original Mark 10 whites on for show), make as if I'm running. They'll buff up for the final kill only to splatter themselves all over my uber-haxxy FBP response. :P

    Note: If awarded this ship, I will dedicate myself to the dark side. I will go "full evul" and study every hack, trick and annoying exploit available for the FBP-centric build. I'll consult Iskandus, Cryox and other elite FBP abusers to learn their trade secrets and generally try to become as annoying as humanly possible!

    Alternately, I might go for the Fleet Advanced Research Vessel since that way I could also equip it with Aux2Batt and Tech Doffs for yet another level of exploit abuse! Aux Batts FTW! :eek:

    So, please, Mr. OP, help me realize my dream! Help me step away from the path of righteousness and into the dark places where we all secretly long to abide! Help me become "PURE EVUL!"

    Fleet karmarag is awesome. I ran it a while back. Very strong but also resilient. AtoB setup with viral matrix. But that was before the changes in cooldown of team abilities.

    just had a birthday too, but im keping my fleet mods. pretty much have all the ship i could want right now myself.

    fleet kam is sweet, if only its LTC station were tactical though. LTC level sci skills can bring the pain, but missing spread 3 or APO hurts. despite that its hard to find a more maneuverable cruiser. right now its biggest downside is that it got skipped when they introduced that mogh skin to most klingon ships :rolleyes: maybe if a few more of you got it they would finish the job

    I would use to provide my tac with a decent ship. After I've spend quite a bit of money on making my sci ready with a vesta, I came to the conclusion that it's fun, but I can't blow up stuff properly with it. I also made my character a Human instead of an Alien so my customizations options are so limited D:

    Why would I like a new ship from the fleet modules? Because getting a decent ship at 50 is expensive and I really like the way my tac looks, she is just amazing :3 So I rather play her than my original character. Oh and I still have to buy an account warehouse, otherwise I can't level my reputations... Expenses I can't afford right now due to a miscalculation at taxes :/

    I'd get the Fleet Star Cruiser, so I could go explore the galaxy and go on missions of mercy to help save the poor homeless children on Bajor, and feed the hungry and cold on Andoria. I would bring medical supplies to needy starbases, and transport hypos for all those fighting the Borg. I would sell all my things and donate the money to the Save-The-Romulans fund. I would use this ship and its crew to give equality and freedom to all and finally bring World Peace!


    Nah, I'd just kill people with it...

    I'd get the Fleet Intrepid just so I can build something like http://www.kaysvaultofstuff.com/absolute-misery-intrepid.html for my sci and refine it to make everyone I meet utterly miserable :D

    I've always really liked the look of this ship, it was great that they gave us the RA version for free, then they added the Fleet version but there was no way to get an FM discount :-(

    The RA version comes with the standard look of the Enterprice-C and the Fleet version also has the variation http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/ambassador.htm

    There is just something about this ship.

    Indeed. This and the Kamarag. Great looks, very good bridge officer setups - and a 4 fleet module price tag that is just too much for a single character unlock.

    A Fleet Olga Carrier for my Kazon Engineer named Jal Beight. I would fly around Ker'rat moaning in zone chat that the Borg don't think me worthy...Feds that never considered PvP in the least would come from far and wide to blow me up! KDF would flood the forums with requests to bring back glitching Fed so they could blow me up as well! With glitching back in place, KDF that never considered PvP in the least would come from far and wide to blow me up! The PvP community would outsize the PvE community overnight! Things would get fixed...folks that never considered STO a PvP game would come from far and wide to play...to blow me up! There would be so much money pumped into the game that Cryptic could fix every bug and make all the improvements everybody wants! Yes, a Fleet Olga Carrier for my Kazon Engineer named Jal Beight would be the best thing possible for the game!

    Er...now off to have my morning leak, morning smoke, and morning caffeine...to wake up and stuff.

    In all seriousness, though, while I don't wish to submit an application for the giveaway - I have to say it's pretty damn nifty of you do to be doing this for some lucky guy or gal out there.

    I don't need a new ship :). I'm happy with the stuff I have Playing with my friends at various missions/stf's are more important than ships :D.

    So what I should do with those FSM's if I get them? I share them, with those friends.

    I've always been a fan of the Akira class design, i have a model on my desk and i had the t3 version. So, i'd take the Fleet Heavy Escort Carrier. it just looks too good... :):)

    That would be the Fleet Nova. Tiny little speedfreaking ship for trolling people with sci gimmicks and bombing with evul torpedoes.

    I would LOVE to be able to receive the fleet Ambassador.

    I am relatively new to STO, 9 months or so, and I missed out on free give away.

    The reason for the Amby being my choice is it's simply a beautiful looking ship. I am the creator of Star Trek Battles channel and what I/we mostly do is fly canon ships. I do have the free in game one but would love to upgrade her so that I can fly her on my eng when we have themed runs say like "TNG".

    I would keep her looking as screen accurate as I can by putting 1 array & 3 torps fore & aft. TBH I would fly her just for the looks as she is one of the first ships I saw when I stumbled upon Star Trek all those years ago.

    I hope my entry is considered and I wish you once again a Happy Birthday Captain 07.

    As for myself, my @handle is pretty easy to guess. ;)

    And I would want to buy some of the rumored upcoming fleet ships honestly. Especially the Fleet Gurumba (doubly so if it has 5 tac consoles).

    Besides, would you really wanna say no to the epohh guy who has been raising an army of epohhs (don't tell anybody though) to conquer the galaxy (class)? :P

    It would be a really tough choice between a Fleet Corsair for my Orion Captain and a Fleet Kar'Fi. TBH the Corsair choice would be simply because I would love to make a viable PvP ship that also fits the Role Playing aspect of being an Orion. If I chose the Kar'Fi, I would make it the ship that lets the Federation and RRW know why the Klingons have to work hard to hide the fear they feel at the very mention of the Fek'Hiri. Just approaching the ship would take 20% of the hull of my enemies. I would use the fighter instead of the frigates because we all know how annoying it is to have a dozen or so of them flitting about. I would then petition Cryptic to create a console for the ship that "captures" my defeated enemy and makes him/her spend the rest of the match locked in a room with the Fek'Hiri dancing girls. Just for special effect, the room would come with a constantly repeating sound bite at least as irritating as "Bonnieeee Kin" "Booooonnnnie Kin" just to make sure they rue the day!

    I would get any fleet ship for my tac KDF. That poor guy is flyin mirror raptor, feels like i`m playin S5 w/ it LOL. Which one in particular, well most likely fleet kar`fi w/ siphon drones, AA, SS2, and ES3 :P oh, and polarons offcourse :D

    I'd probably use them to get a nice sci ship for my main character. I've got great escorts... a nice cruiser, but I'm lacking a science ship to play around with... maybe the fleet Nova? Or the fleet medical ship thing - I love the look of that one. Or maybe I could get a fleet Ar'Kif for my rom - she's still using a cobbled-together mirror Mogai.
