Omega Kinetic Shearing trait and EBC

Not sure if anyone at Cryptic is aware, but there is a bug with omega kinetic shearing at the moment where, if you are using an Enhanced Battle Cloak ship, when the trait kicks in you drop out of cloak for a few seconds (like when you fire torpedos from cloak).
This happens with torpedoes and mines. I have tried several passes dropping mines with bonuses to cloaking via skills / equipment and BOFFs - but as soon as the omega kinetic shearing trait triggers, it classes it as a new attack from you and drops your cloak, every time.
