Could you look into making this happen for the next appropriate special event, however long it is before then? The T5 Kamarag is quite frankly the most graceful Klingon ship in the game, and, as with the T5 Ambassador, has one of the best sets of stats and layouts in the game for a good tactical cruiser.
I'd really like to be able to get both of these again, if even for a brief time. Please take it to the team and consider it?
I also would like this motion to pass. Be nice to be able to get T5 Ambassader/Kamarag again even though it would just be for a limited time. Both ships look great and are great cruisers with a Science lean to them.
Same for spin the wheel. Personally i rather fix things than having to deal with blabbering patients.
Cold Comfort and Spin The Wheel are the fastest missions in the bunch though.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Point, that. But I don't feel like shelling out that much cash for 4 FSMs...
Think of it as a 2000 Zen ship for Fleet members. That's fairly on par for a C-Store ship with a Universal Lt. slot, minus the special consoles/abilities.

Expect that a C-Store ship gets unlocked for all chars of that Faction, while spending 4 FSMs for a ship only gives it for that one character. That reason right there is why I never got a Fleet Tor'khat for any of my KDFs
I just noticed something - the event is listed as ending on the 27th, but no time is listed. I'm going to assume it'll end at the usual 10am PST that day?
The old Lobi Scavenger Hunt is gone forever. As of the last time we ran this event, 12/2013, the hunt that contained 5 Lobi hidden in each mission, as well as the Accolades you got for finding them, have been removed.
For those of you that missed out on these Accolades, we are very sorry to say that they are gone
Apology not accepted.
I have two characters that couldn't get the accolade because some genius dev decided to bury the helix in Cold Storage under a rock. You guys were notified of this very early during last event in at least two different threads, and you never fixed the problem. You had plenty of time to do so but you didn't. It's like you guys didn't even care.
It is on a 20 hour cooldown that begins once you have turned in the mission. No visible cooldown will show however, so it is up to you to keep track of your timing.

Why no timer for events?
It is so frigging annoying to start a few min to early and not get any reward.
Just add a small fragging clock that is tied to the event flag, how hard can it be? :P

I second that. I've been saying it for every event they've ran without a cooldown timer attached. There's not really any good reason for it.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
I have done the "Spectres" Episode run and I have not gotten my Lobi Crystals or the Ophidian Cane. Did it have to be done on specific days? If I have to do the run again I'll do it but if I still don't get the rewards than I just wasted a total of 8 hours, normally it would be 4 but due to the FPS being so low.

It starts today May 16 at 10am pacific time. It's 9:30am so you're a half hour early.
Im from the uk so it starts at 6:00pm just incase anyone is wondering, yeah wish there was a timer attached to the event ad, to tell you how long until you can get the next amount of lobi.
Why does this event only include the multplei episode feature episodes and not the single episode feature episodes? Temporal Ambassador and whatever the new ones are called should also be included with their special rewards.

You don't need to run through the whole series to get the reward. Just the last episode of each series is all you need. I agree the announcements aren't always clear on that. So to get the cane you only need to do 'Night of the Comet'.
With all due respect...
Al, Stephen and others at Cryptic (PWE) need to scrape the forums for customer (player) feedback, then formulate a better cookie-cutter best practices to these events.
Examples:
* Thank you for identifying the Lobi crystal giveaway (now versus what existed many months ago). BUT this item shouild have been cited in the original community (blog) announcement.
* The self-monitored cooldown of 20 hours? Ridiculous. The devs should have been instructed months ago (when this event was also scheduled, I'm assuming) to include the timer cooldown feature. This is what players want. Do you want players to start screaming "Where's my Lobi? I got it yesterday, where is it today?" (without realizing it's a 20-hour cooldown period that THEY themselves must keep track of).
* Excluding certain featured episodes from getting awards in this event? Bring 'em BACK. Past giveaways, like the T3 and T5 Ambassador? Worried about ship sales? You'll generate sales with ship slot purchases. (I realize the argument this was a special item to promote the Temporal lockbox/Tasha Yar (Denise Crosby)/Enterprise-C additions to the game. It's still worth rewarding, unless you're planning to re-promote the Temporal lockbox sometime soon.)
Anyone else have additional examples to cite?
Cryptic needs to be better organized and forward-thinking with future STO events, imho.

It should be assumed in the blogs that the only way to get the Lobis was just completing the mission. If anything, the mistake lays with those who look up the wiki which probably doesn't have their Feature Episode pages updated to let players know that the search is now out of date.
And if you were here the last time, you should have known about it before hand, so...

The problem here is that if they do this, then they're gonna end up locking out missions for 20 hours. You see, when you complete a mission, some of them (maybe all of them, not sure) goes on cooldowns, about 30 minutes. To do this, they would have to implement this on all of the Featured Episodes. Now, many missions aren't that big of a deal, but what about the final missions with the special rewards?
Say you're running the mission "Cold Storage". You didn't get the Lobi yet, but you also want the Breen Tactical BOFF and the Breen Shields. You complete the mission, get the Lobi and choose the BOFF. Okay, time to go back, get the shields and call it a day. Not so fast, says the mission journal: 20 hour cooldown. So, you decide to run off to go play "Operation Gamma" to get the Jem'Hadar pieces because you don't have them. Completed it to get the first piece, try for the second... NOPE. 20 hour cooldown.
See where it hurts?

You see, the problem here with that is that, despite being called "Featured Episodes", they're not the same as the Breen/Tal Shiar/Devidians/Jem'Hadar Featured Episodes. Temporal Ambassador and A Step Between Stars are Anniversary episodes. Sphere of Influence and Surface Tension are more or less Season Openers. Face it - you've missed out on the T5 Ambassador/Kamarag. You missed out on the basic Obelisk. Fork out the Lobi or the Fleet Ship Modules and get the ships from your Fleet store.
Finished Cold Comfort and didn't got any lobi. Trying with other toon now.
Edit: my other toon got the lobi. Might have taken the mission before the event starts.
I just finished "Cold Call". My FED SCI toon hadn't played the mission; logged into STO at 10:04am PT (STO's in-game clock, no less) and requested the mission.
NO Lobi after turning in the mission report.
C'mon, Cryptic...
EDIT: Just played the follow-on mission, "Out in the Cold", where I was awarded the 15 Lobi crystals at the end of the mission (and before turning in the mission report). Thank you, Cryptic.
Picked up and ran 'Spin the Wheel' on my main just after the event kicked in, no lobi. Switched to an alt and did 'Night of the Comet' got the cane but still... No lobi...
EDIT: When I switched back to my main the lobi had appeared... Very odd.

Sure, assuming you're an actual dev with access to the codebase... and can tell me specifically that STO can't enact a general cooldown timer to help alert players about playing for Lobi crystals due to this fact.

A Trill, a Gorn, a Jem'Hadar, Bejoran and a Voth walk into a bar, and the Bartender asks "What is this a Joke?"
"Nope, just my away team" the trill replies before ordering a round for the bar.
I don't know if will help everyone. But here's what I did. After I played Cold Comfort the first time I did NOT get any Lobi. I went ahead and played Cold Case and received the Breen Boff. So for the heck of it I re-ran Cold Comfort and got the Lobi.
My theory is that maybe since I had I qued up Cold Case before the event started, it didn't accept the mission as eligible. I'm not sure. Or maybe I had to the last mission in the series before I was eligible.

You know, I THINK, I have it in my bank, still boxed...
That is certainly useful to know - it's been a long time since I've run a lot of the missions, this bit of info will certainly help.
Now the decision on whether I'll try to do the occasional run at 3am to maximize Lobi income

I did submit a bug report.

My default last time was "Frozen" from the Romulan arc, but just wondered if there were others...
Thanks!

Played Cold Call at 1:15 EST and Just Finished Cold Comfort at 2:39 EST, got the Breen Boff but no Lobi.
Sent in a Bug Report, but I'm wondering do we have to play all 20 before we get the first Lobi? I read pwecaptainsmirk's
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=16919681&postcount=16 but I'm wondering if this not actually the case?
Would you recommend STO to a friend?
"Spin the Wheel" from the Devidian arc and "Cold Comfort" from the Breen arc are the easiest. Especially "Spin the Wheel"
As said many many (many) times in the thread, it's on a 20 hour cooldown.
Also, I ran a mission at 11am or so (server time) and got my Lobi as mentioned no problem.
