Need some ideas on Ships

So with the ship sale up i decided to finally get my Romulan/KDF Toons out of their mirror ships into some C-Store models.

Also, i have only 2500 Zen left after buying the Patrol Escort Refit, so i only have the money for one Ship.

The thing is, i'm totally clueless on what to go for.

I've been looking at the Bortas for quite a while now, but there are other ships that look interesting as well, like the D'D or the Haakona on Romulan side. Also, since the Negh'Var refit is kinda confirmed i'm wondering if i should wait for THAT to appear...

So anyone got some ideas for me?

    In my opinion, if you're undecided that means there's nothing you truly want. :) I don't mean that in a nasty or sarcastic sense either. Just to clarify that. Your best bet is to simply wait. Most of the Mirror Ships (as of late) are Retrofit level (close enough to C-Store level to make a hit). Use them until Cryptic releases something you really want.

    That's what I'm doing. I've always liked the Fleet Star Cruiser, but wont make that purchase until the ship gets a Lt.Cmd Science Station. If it doesn't get one, then I don't buy it. The same with the Galaxy Dreadnought; until the spinal lance is fixed, and the Monach skin is enabled on the build I wont buy it. I might be forever waiting, but I'm not going to waste my money on something I either don't want, or I feel is incomplete.

    I've the cash ready, it's just waiting for the right release.

    Yep, thanks for the advice!

    That's why i like the forums very much. There are always helpful players around giving great advices ;) (As opposed to lets say ESD Chat :P)

    Hah, occasionally you'll get some friendly players on ESD, though I agree, most of them are complaining about something or arguing about religion, politics or other world occurrences. That's if they're not just being rude or inappropriate.

    The Negh'var...well it's not really confirmed. It's more of a rumor, a mention by Geko in a podcast - but you have to consider that Geko has been mentioning that ship for more than a year now.
    There's no way to know when or even if it's comming unless you're friends with Al Rivera. Just wanted to point that out for the sake of information, I do hold high hopes that they're release it this summer.

    That said, the Bortasqu' ships are beasts if you happen to like the slower gameplay of cruisers. I like it and personally adore my Bortas' ships. Plus, with the new enhanced sensor analysis the Command Bortasqu' that has it just got turned into an even bigger beast.

    Other than that because you mentioned it, I don't know what to recommend. What kind of ships do you like to fly? Your avatar tells me big, slow and heavy ones. :D
    I just bought a Kar'fi Battle Carrier myself yesterday. :)

    I just bought a Kar'fi Battle Carrier myself yesterday. :)

    I dont have a high level klingon, but if i did i would want the kar fi. It looks cool and from what i have seen has some cool capability.

    If you like warbirds, the arkif is a lot of fun, and so is the dhelan. But you have the new patrol escort which is an EPIC ship, so maybe just stick with that as others suggested until you know what you really want. :)

    lol :D Yeah, I play KDF a lot so I tend to buy KDF ships especially when there's a sale and I've been looking at the Kar'fi for quite a while now. Nothing like flying a demon ship from Gre'thor. :D Played around with it a bit, seems like a really fun ship although I'm not generally much into carriers.
    But I also got the new Tempest as well. And it's also fun as hell. So now I'm stuck balancing between 2 new ships that I have a lot fo fun in. :)

    Galaxy X is a nice ship I used it with my science officer !!!
    But indeed there are thing that need to be solved, spiral lance is wacky to say the least and the rest of it well it's so so not really a big hit but it is better than it was...

    Make sure to pick up a couple of dilithium frigates for your Karfi.

    Four of those in the air makes a huge difference.

    Yep, I'm actually going for the elite fleet ones. :) I'm missing only a smidge of dilithium to get them, but that should be no problem for a KDF char.
