Kitbashing

Any chance we could get some kitbashing of our own in game. Most of the new ships that have been coming out like the avenger and odyssey have rather limited to no variations of parts. It would be nice to be able to augment some of our ships visually with parts form other ships we own. It something we saw in the shows and movies because of time and money constraints. In sto I’d venture to guess it’s for the same reasons. Why not extend the tradition a bit and lets the players do it some

As to what parts could go on what I have no real idea but I could see nacelles in general being an item that could often be moved from one ship to another and ascetically look good. Maybe some of the ones from the sovereign variations could work on the odyssey. Or the vesta’s and patrol escorts nacelles with some rescaling could work as well. Ultimately it would be up to the devs on what would be allowed to be used on what but there may be a lot of parts that could be used and look good on ships other then what they started out.

This has already been asked and devs said no as getting all parts to work with each other would be a nightmare or wouldn't work at all
