lifetime membership question

I caved and just bought lifetime. How long does it take to show on my account in game? I checked on arc and it says lifetime, but I still can't buy the lifetime ship and I can't see the badges either. Aren't you supposed to get all veteran perks straight up?

Hopefully someone has experience of this.

New characters can't get the items until level 5. Existing characters should get them at any time. Maybe you need to log out and then back in? Don't know. If the logout doesn't work you should probably sent a ticket to support.
