Arc and steam wont download

how does one get download the standalone launcher :confused:

    As far as I know, the standalone doesn't really work anymore. It gets as far as validating your login info, and then can't connect.

    What problems are you having with Arc and Steam?

    they just don't down load for me for what ever reason there's always some error and apparently the launchers worse for me than you wont even connect to even attempt to log on
    just want to get to the new season and play the game. these problems already persisted enough to stop any chance of the mirror event in march made me lose my chance of having the science destroyer from the featured episode of 2/5 characters of mine and that was only because of lobi that i was able to get them. have no idea whos fault it is or what is at fault but the real problem is i am running out of options. :mad:

    Now I continue to use the stand-alone launcher every day, and haven't had any problems with it. If you have connection issues, then its more likely to be either a firewall issue, or a problem with the Internet Route connection the STO Servers...

    Following the instructions for the 'Net Test' and 'Trace Route' network diagnostics, would do a great deal to rule out one or the other, and are described in this thread... http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=225155

    how do i download the standalone launcher now though the one i have does not connect-ty for web site i'll try it out and get to you sooner or later

    You've already opened a thread about your issues, plus another thread about asking is ARC mandatory now this thread.

    Keep it to one thread and keep it in the proper forum.
