Due to the zen bonus if i buy 2000 zen ill have enough for the Tac bortas'qu but im curious if i should get the zen and buy the bundle or just get the tac version thoughts?
Bortasqu Command Cruiser is the best of them all IMO, especially now with the new Sensor Analysis revamp which more than makes up for having one less tac console.
However, No Bortas IMHO should ever be flying around without the autocannon console which is found with the Tactical variant.
If you ask me, and do consider this is coming from a Bortasqu' fan for what it's worth, you should aim for the bundle.
Why? Because with the modifications to 'sensor analysis' the Command Bortasqu' just got a second life and became an even bigger beast than it already was, but you'd want to use the autocannon combined with the snare because they work together nicely, plus the 2-piece set bouns goes good with these ships.
I dug out my Bortasqu' from among one of my KDF TAC Toons. Not the TAC Bortasqu' but the Command version. One of the very rare ships in the game that can possibly have LtCdr TAC, 4 TAC Consoles, AND Sensor Analysis. All in one package.
Getting better turn performance has gotten much easier for a while now. Lots of tools to alleviate the Bortasqu's turn rate issues which has been a very sore point to many KDF players. But again, there's many tools to get around that these days. If you have questions on it, ask here.
