An experimental build based on their similar armaments. as an escort i get killed a lot after throwing so much damage I've decided having all my eng and sci slots as universal consoles is proving ineffective for survivability.. season 9 has not really been kind to me while running the voth and undine elites. STFs haven't really proven a problem. I've yet to gain access to fleet equipment and the only preorder items i do have are from steam so no red matter capacitor.

Any suggestions on the build would be nice as i know I have overlooked some stuff. DOFF suggestions would help as well as BOFF layouts.

Here's my revamp of your build while attempting to stay true to the flavor you wanted.

Most escorts want to run an EPtX (emergency power to 'x') build, so that's what I gave you. The boff layout is largely centered around dealing damage to mobs while still providing plenty of hull heals and shield tanking.

Notable substitutions: With tactical initiative, you may want to run 1 CRF and 1 CSV. If your Aux power is in the 30s, I'd replace Aux2SIF with Engineering Team 2 or do ET1 and EPtS2. If you find you would rather have a little more damage, replace Attack Pattern Omega 1 and 3 with Attack Pattern Beta 2 and 3. You could still run the Assimilated deflector and engine and simply equip the shield (though after the season 9 nerf, the borg set just doesn't proc too often).

    To do list:
    - Play Sphere of Influence twice for the Omni beam and Rift core.
    - Play Step Between the Stars three times for the Salonae Set.
    - Buy 3x Rare (blue) or better Damage control Engineers.
    - Run either 2x Projectile Weapon Officer doffs or run something like a Shield Distribution Officer for an extra shield heal on use of Brace for Impact.
    - While not essential, consider a skill respec.

    Basic tips:
    - If you're dying a lot, don't park and shoot, always move at at least 1/4 speed.
    - If you have done most several tiers of reputation, select defensive abilities.
    - Get the Hilbert Keybind (scroll to just past gear) if you don't have one already, this alone will increase your power and tanking immensely. Set up your tray 7 with EPtXs and Tac boff powers.
