Season 9 Ground Reputation Weapons - "One Model to Rule Them All?"

Okay, the Season 9 Ground Weapons. No matter what you get, phaser/disruptor, beam/assault, it doesn't matter- you get the same weapon model and same green fire. At this point I'm surprised they don't just all fire a single beam too.

Is this what to expect going forward, or is this more like "Whoops, we didn't have the graphics ready and will update later?"

(Or Prophets forbid, is this deliberate pre-planned revamp fodder?)
