Season 9 Downtime Periods

The amount of patch and mini-patch downtime I've seen with the Season 9 launch has been disappointing. I understand a lot of changes were made and I've experienced some of the issues that have been corrected. However, for a casual player these downtime periods can overlap the only available game play periods for an entire day. That would be frustrating enough for a F2P player, but for those of us who financially support the game, it is aggravating. Please get this sorted as soon as possible, or start issuing compensation for lost use. Thank you.

    You know, we could always just not patch and be left with all the bugs. That is a great idea.

    Disappointing perhaps, but typical for a large release. The daily patches will likely be done be the weekend.

    And the downtimes have hardly been extensive or unplanned, so I wouldn't expect any kind of "compensation."

    But yeah, I can see how it would suck if that's the only time of day you can play.

    Um, this is nothing compared to previous releases. Trust me, this one was as smooth as silk in comparison.. ;)

    Must have missed the last 4 years ... not to mention there are other games with regular daily downtimes (Go play EVE Online, then ;P) ... not beating dead horses anymore, though ... check response on the other 5 bazillion OMG Downtime Threads ....
    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    Players want bug fixes and then complain about it when Cryptic takes down the server to fix them. So much lolz.

    This will happen no matter what time they decide to fix bugs to someone. It sucks for those who happen to only be able to play during maintenance times, but it's better than leaving the bugs in.

    And pretty much every MMO I've played has had this problem with a patch release.

    Aside from the release patch on Tuesday, they've done ONE 'extra' patch this week (Thursday is the usual weekly server maintenance downtime with or without a patch.) So, sorry, don't see a lot of extra downtime (or outright server crash) since the S9 release. As has been stated above, with regard to unexpected downtime, S9 so far has been on of their smoother season update releases so far.

    to be honest its to be expected with a content change like this . its not just a FE Cryptic released , there is alot of subsets to cause all sorts of bugs , we will be in bug fix mode for a few weeks i would expect .
    at least there is no grindvent going on , be thankful for that at least .
