Really long patch........

This patch has taken longer than ANY other patch ever for me personally, even S8 was faster and 8.5 for that matter. Granted, it's an OLD laptop that runs the rusty but trusty windows XP, on an old dell laptop, the kind that they use/used in schools. I got it cheap from a friend that works for a computer company. And unless one of you want to sell me a nice computer for REALLY cheap, I'm. Not buying one. So why is it slow and how can I make it faster. Cause in 11 hours its at 25.7%

It could be your ISP connection. Could be your router, or it could be your modem. I used to have long load times til I had Comcast replace my old modem.

Then I feel for you as the graphic requirement has gone up with this new season.

As for the dl speed, stop the dl, reset your router/modem and computer, then try again.

Good Point. Basically, unplug your modem and/or router and let it be for about 30 seconds to a minute. That clears it and then plug your modem in and then your router (if you're using one), should help speed it up too. I do that about once a week.

For a mere 75 Mb patch it was slow, but still finished in under 2 minutes.
Maybe even 1 minute, but i didn't time it.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Well, for a start, that has nothing to do with your pc performance.

Unless of course you have a problem in your hard drive, that is making the transfer really slow. Or your isp or your internet connection. WE should start asking you, what internet speed do you have, what are your pc specs?? are you using a cooling base for your laptop?? etc, etc
