So I finally decide to the rep system... Question about advancing tiers...

I finally decided to do the rep system last week; Dyson and Omega.

I have completed Tier 1 for both. The question is now that I fulfilled all the rep points need for Tier 2, how do I complete the tier? If I remember correctly, for Tier 1 I need to do a quick project to complete Tier 1. However, there is no such project for Tier 2. The status is "Upgrade Available" for both. The only projects I can choose are for gear.

Dyson = Personal Shield Mk XII , Proton Particle Stabilizer Console

Omega = MACO Personal Shield Mk XII , Omega Personal Shield Mk XII, Assimilated Universal Console


Do I simply do all projects for the gear to complete Tier 2? Since I do not really focus much on ground combat, I do not want to spend the resources (dilithium) for the shields.

    Since no one answered my question...

    Do I assume no one has reached Tier 2 yet in any of rep systems since it this system was introduced back in season 7?

    Or is the rep system now broken since there are no projects that specifically upgrades me to Tier 2 even though I have fulfilled the rep point requirements; (15,000 for each rep system I think...).

    There is a small project to go from T1 to T2 that's available in the 3rd slot on your reputation system(the first 2 being for normal xp projects and equipment requisitions) It's easy to miss in things like the nukara rep where it gets buried in with the equipment turn ins.

    IIRC, I think the upgrade to Tier is a "Special Project". In other words, the top two project slots are for gear (like you said). The Third project slot would be to upgrade.

    Actually I too am not seeing the Claim Tier project in the Upgrades tab ? Its just NOT there :/. Great another bug >.> an this is a Pretty Major bug if we Can't even get through the reps now :(.

    Hmmm.... I believe I did check that, but I could be wrong... I'll find out when I get home.

    So I guess that means I am not going insane then...

    I guess I'll find out later today myself, I finished Omega and romulan reps during their respective launch seasons so I don't have those to look at myself but I can check undine and dyson(I think I finish t5 dyson on a toon tonight so...)

    Okay, I was able to find the Claim Tier 2 projects for Dyson and Omega.

    I guess I overlooked the 3rd slot this time.
