Nerf Ramming speed

[nameless] deals 158851 (204622) damage (critical) to HQHQ with Ramming Speed III.

wth is that? there is no way to counter that kind of damage.
Punish the feds!!!

    Um no. It has a 3 minute cooldown, is extremely hard to accurately aim, and as deokkent said, is epic.

    Oh, not to mention it will deal back a lot of hurt. I saved this from my combat tab:

    [Combat (Self)] Your Ramming Speed III deals 211767 (213054) Kinetic Damage to you.

    yeah no... being rammed is supposed to SERIOUSLY hurt

    Hil'bert deals 158851 (204622) damage (critical) to HQHQ with Ramming Speed III.

    I dropped to low hull, fired up a rather good GDF, noticed that I was about to die, thus triggered all my APA/TacFleet buffs, hit Brace for Impact and set a collision course with the recluse healer. It was a glorious ram.

    Yes, it's a huge amount of damage. But unlike the vape-style attacks from cloak, ramming is not something that one can reliably pull off. And it did destroy my ship, too.

    You're kidding? It's one of those last ditch efforts we really need more things like it(warp core breeches shouldn't be a joke, I mean it's only all of your antimatter going critical at once...) Nothing says desperate like throwing your ship right into another(I wouldnt mind if it say took weapons offline during though because all power was diverted into engines to avoid being mixed with a DBB BO3)

    I'm sure in DS9, the USS Odyssey would have loved to have had Ramming Speed nerfed before that engagement.

    yeah, warp core breach should do 400k damage

    It's hard to notice since RS lasts 5 seconds, but it does drain all other subsystem power.

    No is not extremly hard.Its pretty easy to do it or it gets impossible if you target is going up or down but thats due to how this game understands 3d

    YEs there is ...its called Brace for impact.

    No is not extremly hard.Its pretty easy to do it or it gets impossible if you target is going up or down but thats due to how this game understands 3d

    Yes, it is easy to hit a relatively slow moving ship. But a speedy escort? No.

    I have hit lots of ramming speeds besides this, because I am experienced at using it. However, regardless of that, it's still hard to hit something going crazy circles at super speed within 5 seconds.

    I once had someone attempt to ram my vesta...and crashed into one of my Scorpion Fighters. The fighter bit the dust, but let's just say the ramming ship never made it to my ship.

    im not used to getting killed in that ship but when someone one shots me i cry a little :(

    And all of this ignores the bad rams that scratch your paint and blow up the one trying to ram(far too often i've seen that XD)

    IIRC ramming speed does horribly low damage to shields so keeping them up is also a good idea. I might be wrong though

    I remember once with Avenger, a bortasq and bop attacked me. I got snared in a subspace rupture, had ramming speed. Clicked it with no clue of where I was going... bop died :P
