Marks in a box why ?

What's up with putting none uni marks in a box into the inventory rather than adding them straight into the pool like they used to do. Also running dyson each time I complete a zone with auto loot off iI have to now tick a box to collect my mark rewards which go into my inventory for me to open a box

    oh why do i have to get in my ship and shoot them? Why can't I just load the map, fly around and teach strange alien women how to love?
