Why do the KDF not have a social Hub in the khitomer System?

Greetings All,

I just recently decided to roll my 11th Character a Romulan Engineer (KDF aligned) and I was playing the mission that takes place on Khitomer and was thinking to myself how great it would be for the KDF to have the map used for that mission has a active KDF social hub.

Khitomer is a KDF controlled system and having an active social hub in that system would make a lot of sense for the KDF player base.

    That's a fantastic idea actually. It's a great map relegated to one mission and you can't even revisit it. I'd probably spend all my time there as opposed to Qo'nos if it were an option.

    What would I do there besides Visit Zordon and the Power Rangers. :cool:

    It would be nice to have soso much more for KDF in general.
    Would hopefully bring more players to that side.

    This has actually been mentioned at least several times before. I for one, agree. Khitomer is obviously such an iconinc place in Star Trek, the map is bascally there for the Romulan missions and it looks very cool, the planet is Klingon.....it would be very nice for them to do something like that for the faction, show they care.

    Hell I would hang out there all the time instead of Ganalda if it were an option.

    Isn't Kitomer borg controlled? A half assimilated social zone?

    Nope, it under the control of the Klingon Empire. The conference where Romulan players choose their allegiance happens on the Klingon controlled Khitomer. I think you're confusing the name of the STF with the actual planet.

    No, Khitomer has no Borg on it, except maybe some Liberated Borg. There is an STF named aKhitomer, but it has nothing to do with Khitomer. Anyway, I support this idea, 100%. :D

    And the STF was named after the original Federation Tutorial Mission "Khitomer Crisis". The Soverign class ship the Player beams over to is the USS Khitomer. I really wish they would give us the option of playing THAT tutorial or the new revamped one at character creation.

    That would be an awesome zone. There would actually be something for other players to DO there besides wasting your bandwidth and framerate.

    If I'm not mistaken the STF was originally called "Khitomer Accord".:confused:

    You are correct, the STF is called "Khitomer Accord". The Tutorial Mission was named ""Khitmoer Crisis". The STF was created specifically to flesh out the backstory behind the Borg attack on the Vega Colonies. If they remove the option to play the original tutorial mission, then what is the point of the STF?

    well and dont kill me for bringing this up, but since the Klingon fed war is over khitomer could be a neutral hub where once again SF and KDF are hammering out a new accord.
