That thing has become impossible to do one shooting everybody getting into range. Simply broken for good.

I haven't had that problem at all today over the course of 8 runs. Now it is possible for the CE to get a lot of Recrystalize built up, especially if you don't have any Sci captains using Tach Beam, Energy Siphon or Tyken's on it. With enough stacks of Recrystalize running the CE will one shot people and it can be a real bear to get that back under control.

Both my D'Kyr and my Hegh'ta go instantkilled every time coming in combat range after the 2nd charge. Even cloaked.
While on the first run after some times the thing got blown, on the second run everybody ultimately gave up leaving me alone in that instance.

Yep, can usually look at the guys on your team and the ships on the other team to know right off the back whether there's likely going to be an issue or not.

Didn't notice anything different. Use TR and GW to your heart's content and torpedoes away.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
dodgy connection to the server or luck of the draw. i get the same in voth ground. some days i can stroll around casually soloing cap points, other days i can barely kill the specialists without buffs running.
No. I don't get instant hits from anything in the voth zone as soon as I am in combat range.
The ce fires her beam doing between 40.0000 and 60.0000 damage, and should I somehow survive the first hit she repeats that about 4 seconds later.

Bad luck? It's one of those things where if you've got the folks with the GWs and/or drains to lock it down...it's wham bam thank you ma'am. If you don't...well, the majority of folks out there won't play any different - will just massively feed the Entity...and then everybody starts getting popped.

I recently found the Aceton Assimilator dropped in close proximity of the CE does wonders as well.
For the rest, torpedoes + TR/GW are your friend in CEE.

I've noticed a few trolls/misguided players running nothing but hull heals (it seemed) and parking right next to the ce to get damage via shards recently...
..it could be that you had one of them, or more likely a cannon user who got a large number of large shards on their tail which hit them, resulting in a large number of small shards
