Is there any wisdom in mixing different type of Disruptors, such as Elite Fleet, Nanite, Polarized etc?
The disruptor resist procs do not stack, so the proc needs to be different for it to have a stacking effect. Almost all of the disruptor weapons use Disruptor Breach proc. Nanite disruptors have a different proc but its not as good. My strategy has been to use fleet disruptors with a single nanite turret, for any stacking that might occur.
Elachi doesnt have a disruptor proc, instead it has the penetration proc that only applies to the current shot.
I suppose you could use regular disruptor turret and Nanite turret with an Elachi loadout, since they share energy type. I havent looked into whether or not the Elachi penetration proc benefits from reduced resists, but I assume it does. The procs would benefit all of the other shots anyway.

I.E for a BoP 3x Elite Fleet DHC's, Elachi DBB, And a polarized and a nanite turret?
Or is it best to simply just focus one type of Proc?
For your BoP, that is a pretty good setup, sometimes i use full polaron proc, or full nanite proc, or mix everything. I just dont see need of single polarized turret by having just one drain proc. Either go full with polarized or mix regular with nanite DHC/turrets
They removed the lockout a few weeks back, so go happy with the turrets.
I missed that, where did you find that? I would like to see what did they exactly do.
But i still would not take that proc on turret.
Edit: never mind, found it, thank you for info
Another edit : i still think nanite dual proc or regular beta proc is more reliable that sticking all elachi cannons,i still stand for elachi BO always, but i am tempted to try all elachi build in PVP
Nanite stacks with disruptor... elachi doesn't proc disruptor.
So yes it makes sense to mix and match a bit.
Since the elachi change I guess you could argue running all elachi isn't a bad policy.
I like to run Polarized D turrets. I like the free Polaron proc and landing the dual proc is nice. I wouldn't run PD DHC or DBBs though as they only have 2 mods.
All the disruptors are good options really... and there is no real down side to mixing them up.
Outside of the BMDs...the others pretty much work like the Nanite...both procs occur; which begs the question is there a single 2.5% chance for both or are there two 2.5% chances of applying both...ie...4.9% instead of 2.5%? Have to figure it's just 2.5% and a tooltip thing...but I've never gotten dev clarification on it regardless of how many times it has been asked.
It makes a difference in regard to mixing them...if it's just a single 2.5% roll, then there's no downside to mixing them. If it's not though, then you're reducing the probability of the secondary proc.
It has to be 5% (4.9%) of applying proc per weapon per cycle.
If not, why would i bother the give modifier for it, for 2.5% of better proc?
Except nanites, both less valuable procs occur at same time, and it becomes a single 2.5% proc.
Men, now you have confused me
Edit: when you look at new undine rep turret, that thing has 4 or 5 2.5% procs. I really dont believe that there is
a 2.5% chance to all of that to happens. And 2 piece (or 3 piece) set is boosting one proc to 4.5%, while leaving others at 2.5%

That's the thing though...Nanite Disruptors have 3x Mods, while the others have 2x Mods. The Nanites basically have two halves for a single proc - thus using one mod; while the others have two full procs using two mods...but the two full procs function like a single proc in that when you have one you have the other (you Pol+Dis, you Pha+Dis, you Pla+Dis, etc).
The Bio-Molecular...hrmm...I just haven't tested them. Was mainly looking at the Torp angle for Willard rather than the Energy for another toon. Could probably drop him in another boat with some to see if the Incubation occurs as a separate proc from the Dis/Pha. Hrmm...
You can test the dual procs with dual weapons you can see in the log like Rom plasma. From what I have seen in my parses the dual weapons are 2.5% they just proc both.
That isn't to say that one of the harder to track ones couldn't be screwed up, I mean hey it is a cryptic log... err I mean game.
Lol, don't know what I was thinking trying to do that with a single Bio-Molecular Disruptor Beam Array...but guess it's what I wanted - to make sure the procs were independent. Almost fell asleep there (it's sad that a pair of Frigates in Empire Defense - Federation can't do enough damage to get past the 112 Shield Power).
But yeah, I had three Incubation procs without a Disruptor proc and two Disruptor procs without an Incubation proc.
So that 2.5% and the 2.5% are distinct rolls.
edit: My bad, had to fix the proc chance on the Incubation for energy - was still thinking Torps...meh. It's only 2.5% for Energy not 4.5%.
That's the Heavy turrets, a BMDisruptor and BMPhaser Array, and the new Disrupting Photon Torpedo that Roms get from Mind Game.
Thanks. I have the torpedo already and IIRC it uses the Disruptor Breach proc.
Looks like the turrets get a respectable bump in DPS but only one inherent [Acc]. Beams look more usable, [Acc]x2 and the Nukara console will slow down those skittering escorts.
Is there a clear for the proc? I think I read that it was ST and HE both?

Not sure on the Bio-Molecular Incubation. ST/HE will clear the DoT from Omega Kinetic Shearing.

So yeah, there being two distinct rolls here made me wonder if they changed others on Tribble as well. Copied a guy over that has some Polarized Disruptors in his mix...and running just one saw the following:
Still a dual proc. Procs both Disruptor and Polaron together.
So it just looks like the Incubation/Phaser and Incubation/Disruptor are separated...individual 2.5% rolls instead of a single 2.5% roll for both.
That's the Heavy turrets, a BMDisruptor and BMPhaser Array, and the new Disrupting Photon Torpedo that Roms get from Mind Game.
They have tweaked the turrets again?
The previous version had
BioMolecular inc.
Disruptor Proc
Ignores 5% enemy shields
2.5% chance TRIBBLE damage with 100% shield per. (double against borg)
Turret by itself is nothing special, well higher DPV, one less modifier...
But the 2piece set bonus will more than make up for that
Universal console is worth console slot, and we still dont have description on tactical console.

To bad, what do you think is better, dual proc or single roll?
I forgot how painful single beam testing can be - should have done it with a turret. 2.5% chance every 5s vs. 2.5% chance every 3s...oh well, I'll probably forget again for the next time.
to target: 2.5 Chance: 10% Damage Resistance Debuff for 15 sec AND -25 All Current Power Levels
instead of
to target: 2.5 Chance: 10% Damage Resistance Debuff for 15 sec
to target: 2.5% Chance: -25 All Current Power Levels
The tooltips write it the way it is because they don't combine. They roll for each proc separately on every hit, meaning you can trigger the Damage Resistance Debuff without the Power Level Debuff, or the Power Level Debuff without the Damage Resistance Debuff, or get lucky and trigger both.
To the OP, combining procs will maximize your potential. And since they're all the same damage type, you won't lose any DPS because of tactical console synergy.

That's not true. Every single time it is both. You can't get one without the other. Every time there is a Pol Proc there is a Dis Proc. Every time there is a Dis Proc there is a Pol Proc. It's either one roll for both or two rolls for both...with folks leaning toward one roll for both.
Meh, does bring up the question of whether the new weapons are bugged or the old weapons are bugged, eh? In order to maintain consistency, they should all work the same...no?
With current 2x 2.5% doing dual procs and the Bio-Molecular doing individual procs...hrmmm...should a formal bug thing be dropped out? Perhaps a PM to a dev...? Just let it slide even though inconsistency is one of my pet peeves? Meh...

The elachi proc will lockout the proc for 5 seconds.
But what a proc that is :P
I would suggest elachi BO only.
I would not even put a elachi DHC, the turret or beam array is a failure.
All debuff disruptor procs stacks, but diminishing returns will apply.
