The fleet kits modules when trading in old ones still don't give all ultra rare modules and most of the ultra rare fleet kit modules are not available for sale. Also, I compared the stats of my borg medical analyzer to the spire medic kit and some of the ability's in the old mk x very rare borg kit are better then the mk xii ultra rare spire medic kits. Is this suppose to be this way?
Stat difference might be from your skills modifying the abilites you have equiped and not the ones in the store.
I plan to pick up what fleet kits I want to be using, since I'm not liking the way they are priced on Tribble right now.=/
Borg NPCs dont use them, everything is fine and its a waste of resources to make something only 1% of the population can even use to begin with.
Only for the Summer Event is there a actual rush for it in case its actual necessary.
Most of the open options can't really be used since it stops at the neck, but given that Liberated Borg are a part of the LTS, which is a $300 sub price, you would think that it would be a little more important to keep them up to date. Besides that, the infected skin is also available to the Alien generator, meaning that it's up for use by everyone, so it's not just 1% that this would benefit by being made a full body skin. To be honest, all of the skins would benefit from being made into full body skins, especially the Neck scales or other skins that belong to popular species that might be made playable at a later date. They've also made mention that they would like to add perks to the LTS and enhancing the Liberated Borg would be a great way to do so.
Since they're already delving into the borg content at the moment, why wouldn't it be a good time to go back and fix this? It's something that wouldn't take more than a single artist but would benefit numerous people, more even, since the lack of being able to use open uniforms turns a lot of people off of the idea of using the infected skin. Fix that issue, and even more people will use it, not just the LTS subs.
"Still a work in progress"... Nothing is a work in progress at this point. The developers are smoking a few cigars and enjoying a fine glass of scotch. It's done, finished, Season 9 is sitting on the desktop of 5 different developers ready to be uploaded. No more creating, no more editing, it's done and finally over. Ohh and it's a holiday on Monday so yes, you can't pay those develoopers to do any more work before Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
PS. Prepare for major overtime pay developers cause the servers will likely come crashing down by Tuesday evening after the patch is 'good to go'!
Same thing could be said about the long list of "known issues" below todays tribble patchnotes.
Feels like Holodeck is going to become a Test/Beta-Realm once again next Thursday.
Next Tuesday. 22nd. It's the sudden rush which probably has many uncomfortable especially since we all remember the graphical issues with "step between the stars".
Issues which could have been easily avoided if it had been released for testing.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I suppose inevitably we're going to see a lot of old bugs people want fixed swept under the rug again because of all the new bugs they've not fixed even though they've been brought to their attention.
I've not seen anything in the patch notes saying the costume option collection bug has been fixed, and according to my testing just now the Honour Guard costumes are still missing a lot of options, and I mean at least half of them including the Be'Ves ones.

I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.
Monday is not a Holiday. The Holiday for some is Actually Today It is Good Friday. Easter is Sunday. Some places do take Easter Monday but it is not an official Holiday.

Well good thing they create things now so they can break them in the near future instead of fixing all the TRIBBLE ups they already have.. Thanks for taking things away from us veterans that worked hard for it..... Thanks for taking the time to explain to people that you screwed the game up instead of blaming every one else. Thanks for takin the time to work on your new releases so well to make shure they run smoothly....... Also thanks for chasing away a huge part of your player base, I see very few people loging on now...

Uhm... that's still a lot of content "under development" in that list there. The release is like 4 days away and half your stuff is still being developed? Do I sense a Season 9.3, 9.4 and 9.5 coming soon?
If a party amplifier is dropped on the new ESD map, it causes a very noticeable framerate drop. However, currently on Holodeck, I do not have this problem anywhere on any map. At all.
I did notice this framerate drop as soon as a party amp was activated, and as soon as it finished, the framerate went back up.

Depends on where you live. It is an official holiday here.

Don't use party amplifiers on ESD, problem solved. :P
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.

Better yet, don't use them at all. :P

Tell that to the griefers who love plopping those things down wherever they go, much to the chagrin of people like me who loathe them (and the party poppers).
They should not be able to be used in stations like ESD, K-7, and DS9. Drozona...? Maybe. Risa? Definitely. But not places like ESD.
At least we don't still have the Breen freeze grenades to worry about.

Haha yeah, both valid options! I've only ever used them on one character and that's only when I'm mucking around with friends whilst waiting on queued missions to start. I do seriously dislike having them set off everywhere, all day long.

When I'm using the bank/exchange, I have a panel in the middle of my screen, and I can barely see what happen around my character. So I don't really care about them, and most of the time, I don't even know there is one nearby.
And I don't find them more immersion breaking than having more aliens ships over ESD than fed ship, including Thalaron loaded Scimitar (a tal shiar commando could succeed where Shyzon failed). Or having half naked 1m tall blond with TRIBBLE sliders to the max. Or some random pop culture alien. And pretty much anything in between.
Should I go on ?
The only reason they could be annoying is for RPer that get griefed. But then, griefers will always find a way, and you should RP in a private instance (fleet, foundry mission,...).
Hey when I am surrounded by consoles that look like they're in the process of being beamed away I don't even want to read the words "Immersion Breaking", that ship has sailed, rounded the world twice and sank.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
