How do I put points into skills

Hi guys,

so, I wanted to put a few points into my skills, but how exactly do I save my configuration? There seems to be no button for that.. it just shows "Skills Invalid" in the lower right corner and a button that says 'Respec'. Any advice please?

Here is a screenshot so you can see for yourself what I am talking about:

Thanks in advance!

There was a change in the Skill tree that required a MANDATORY Skill Respec for all existing characters. And it appears you haven't done this yet...

You will have to use that 'Respec' button (which in your case, will be free for its first use) and reallocate ALL OF YOUR CURRENT SKILL POINTS into the correct and proper Skill Tree...

    That's weird. o.O

I get that same exact problem on my Bajoran after copying it over to the tribble test server. His skills are in fact valid, but clicking the respec button on the test server just closes the window and nothing happens.

Here is the tribbler server screenshot http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c355/MonkeyGuts69/skillswindow_zps94d5e47f.jpg~original

I know damn well my character's skills are valid because before transferring him over to the test server I respeced him a couple days before that on the holodeck server. It seems to only happen to my Bajoran character and not any others I copy over. I can go to a skill trainer and choose to respec my skills and redistribute them the same exact way and get no invalid message, but on the test server I have no respec tokens and can't get any and it won't let me respec for free.

I'm wondering if there is some sort of connection in the game coding.

Edit: As far as I know there hasn't been any change in the skill tree on the test server. Nothing in the patch notes, and like I said, it only happens to my Bajoran that I copy over.
