Trying something different (done cannon builds, done aux2b cruisers). Just a mash up of left over parts from other toons.

Thought about doing a rainbow build but didn't want to give pugers an aneurysm. :D

After doing a few STF runs I think that if I invested in some fleet weaps and crit boosting consoles that it might become more powerful then my cannon Kumari with all the goodies.
Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

so you double up most of your abilities...what is the sense of a2b then? a2b with technicians would do that already for you.

honestly leave the a2b to ships that actually profit from it, because it is THE way to make otherwise weak DPS ships into great ships.
what you did there was to make some of your boff abilities redundant.

another thing: either go DBB and full frontal attack or full broadside...never mix. This is true for any ship build.

Seems rather pointless. Redundant abilities (not only one, but 4 of them) in addition to removing the more useful defensive boff skills in STFs. (RSP, HE).

I have nothing invested in this toon (other then the couple hours it took to lvl up during the double XP weekend). No techs, nothing

As stated, everything on this ship is left overs from my other toons, on had 4 dbbs.

Simply, this ship is just trying something different instead of doing the same thing over and over again.

yeah but you can make pretty good ships with ZERO investment, just saying...that build is gimping the potential of the ship you use.

you can still make a pretty good and effective build with TRIBBLE items when combining abilities that make sense for a build and offer some synergies.
a2b makes no sense here, especially not if you have no technicians.

and no, most definately no...it will not get more powerfull than a well thoughtout kumari cannon build. But i haven't seen yours, so it might actually be true in your particular case.

if your going the beam route... pick up AP DBB's and the Warp core/ Omni array set from SoI... that'll give you a pure beam build that has lots of forward firepower.... maybe even pick up the KCB and the assimilated console for their two peice.... and you'll have all your firepower available into your forward arc.

if your going to do a dual a2B build, then you should toss one of those EptS's and pick up EpTW or EpTE.

though pewrsonally, i'd toss a torp on there just because with a Dual a2B build, you shouldn't need that many Attack patterns..... drop one of the APB's and pick up TS 3 or something.

though if i were you., i'd try to get/find 3 Purple techs and just run a single A2B and use the universal for science, and pick up TSS and HE.

Bad idea, first and foremost you're a tactical captain; do you have any idea how much enegery DBB drain? Secondly with all those DBB you're running their damage is going to be poor, you're better off keeping beam boats on cruisers that can support the power demand. Also, where would you use a ship like this? It has no healing abilities what-so-ever, the borg will eat you alive since you have no hazard emitters. And in a PvP match, anyone with a tractor beam can easily take you out. This specific ship was built for cannons, keep it that way.
