I was feeling creative once and started customizing the colors of the chat channels for each of my avatars. Unfortunately I lost the thread of what I was doing and now have a veritable mish-mash of channels with different shades for every avatar. Is there a way I could reset them?
And yes, I tried clicking "Reset Chat and Tab Options" in the Chat Options menu. It changed everything except the colors. LITERALLY everything EXCEPT the colors.
Even if it's a console command to type into chat I'll take it.
You can save the UI of the character with colors you want and reload it, but it sets the character's entire UI setup to the saved version (I use it to keep my UI standard across alts). Go to Options>HUD>Save UI on the character that has the UI/colors you like, and go to the alt. Options>HUD>Load UI.

This is what I'd do. (And have done)
If reset affected chat colors, then any non-standard channels (like NoP Public Service or Public Elite STF) would all default to white... and IMO, it's really hard to follow multiple channels if they're all the same color, even if you keep/add the channel name in the chat line.
