Have to say I preferred this event to ANR and TVE for Romulan marks, my new Rommie (created at the experience bonus weekend) is only a few days off T5 now.
Saying that you prefer this event to ANR is like saying you prefer, well, nearly anything, to having your genitals crushed with a hammer.
even having an extra 50k on top of what you got, thats several extra days you dont need to grind out.
Yes, but people playing since a long time ago, they already have a really strong base of non-refined dilitium. Hell i am playing since not even 1 year ago and i have more than 200k non-refined dilithium and growing. What the hell im gonna do with those 50k? lol. Thats my point. And people who play since years ago, im sure they will have even more than 200k.
So, as i said, if you are new, or you playing since only a few months ago, dilithium can be great. But for the rest of people... the only thing valuable is the doff and the marks, and still...
The problem is, again cryptic gave us a gift that is not really so worthy, and we needed to grind it in an event, the majority didnt like, and is again, dissapointed. But we should be used to it. A doff is a doff, and the purpose is to make assignments, thats all. Dont try to justify that its procs are really not worthy. Use it on assignments and he will be worthy, thats all.
I said since the beginning 1 month ago that the reward, again was really - meh?. But again, nobody seemed to care. Until we saw the event running lol.
So, the free doff that they give away to anybody who completes a no-fail mission enough times should be better then the purple doffs we have already and people pay a ton of cash for?
My logic must be off, perhaps I need a refresher course.
I'm completing the event because... why not? Its some extra dil and a doff, all for blowing things up in this zone instead of a FA or STF.
I even get Dil and marks for the run.
I'm just happy that this doff is kinda unique. The last doff from the Crystaline Event was just a Tyken's grav sci.

On topic: I like Mirror Hakeev. And am glad to have him on board my ship doing menial tasks for me. Right now I have him attempting to play a game of fizzbin. I bet he fails. Tomorrow, he's going to get cast in Hamlet. Because ... Hakeev!
Gotta say after 14 (x2) Mirror Universe Invasion missions, I am rather disappointed with Hakeev.
Rather than giving you an extra copy of Hazard Emitters (which I would have loved), he just boosts your current version to also apply to anyone within 3K and below 50% health.
Don't think I would have bothered with it all if I'd known beforehand.
What's wrong with that? Mirror Hakeev is just the doff I was looking for on my team healer ships.

I don't feel deceived because I knew what I was getting ahead of time and the rest of the reward was sufficient. Never the less, this doff sucks. less than 50% hull? Someone in that position is going to be dead in about a second. Your chances of closing within 3k of them in time and healing them with HE long enough to do some good seems so extremely rarely situational that only a fool would give up one of their doffs for that.
What?! This is MIRROR Hakeev. And since he's from the mirror universe, he should be the polar oposite of his genocidal counterpart.
In which case, rather than trying to murder everyone, he'll be caring for his pet Epohh and have a strange obsession with terraforming. Instead of allying himself with the Iconians, he'll be sendng them letters requesting that they be nice and reflect on their behaviour. And instead of flying around in a Borgified Romulan warship, he'd be flying around in the love boat. And his goal in life is to convince the Borg to ASK (nicely) if races want to be assimilated, and to leave them alone if they don't.

My Mirror Hakeev's only job is to Research Epohh Tags, and love those cute space bunnies with all his heart, which he often does with critical success.
