Dyson T2 Advanced Hull Reinforcement changed to +10%

Not that i'm complaining. But it appears to be +10 resist now instead of +5 resist. Which is a good thing as the 5% was a joke previously. And it did have diminishing returns albeit by a different method. Which did make it more effective. But was still a bit to low. If it wasn't from the Dyson T2 passive changing for 5 resist to 10 resist then where did this extra 5 resist come from?

Currently it first got your resistance pre rep. Let's say it came out as showing 20% under ship/defense. You'd the do the math for the Dyson T2 Advanced Hull Reinforcement with it's own DR. Previously this was 5% which came out to 4.761%. You'd then apply a percentage of this to the total. The percentage would be the 1st number which is 20% and do 1-20%=80%. So that only 80% of the T2 passive would apply. So you'd do 20%+(80%*4.761)=23.8

Or to show as a formula it looks like this.

DR=[(3*(0.25-((75/(150+R))^2)))]+[(3*(.25-((75/(150+AHR))^2)))*(1-(3*(0.25-((75/(150+R))^2))))]

Where DR=Diminished Resistance. The resistance % as shown under ship/defense
R=Resistance, such as accolades, consoles, skills, etc. as in normal resist be it as a percentage or just a number. Note the ones with a % need to be multiplied by 100. So 2% would be 2%*100=2 or 0.02*100=2 or just remove the % and use it as a whole number. So 2%- the % sign becomes 2.
AHR=Advanced Hull Reinforcement

As i don't currently show reputation passives i can only assume that it's increased to +10. Getting naked and calculating it based on the above formula matches exactly. Unless we some how gained resistance from some other source.

I'm also curious if the Antiproton +20resist is included in the original formula as DR is or if it's included with the AHR formula. So for example if it's included in the same place AHR is included it would be.

DR=[(3*(0.25-((75/(150+R))^2)))]+[(3*(.25-((75/(150+AHR+CCR))^2)))*(1-(3*(0.25-((75/(150+R))^2))))]

Where CCR=Crucial Component Redistribution

BTW how or where would the Dyson T4 Active Hull Hardening be in the formula. I've only been able to get close to the correct results when i included it in the original formula and giving it 50 resist. Where would you stick the (1-hull%)*75 at? I have to put it here with 50 resist to get results to match what i see in game.

I've tested this numerous times and the above always matches the results under ship/def/resistances. Tested at 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 1% to ensure accuracy.

Kinda need to know all these answers as i'd like to update my resistance calculator. If it is 50 resist then please update that passive to say 50 resist and not 75.

I can accept the long formula if you provide it. I can then assimilate it and convert it appropriately. Thanks

    According to the latest dev blog, it is currently 50 but it's going to be changed to 75 to match the tooltip.

    Well darn it, Maybe i should read more dev blogs. Curious why they didn't fix this when i posted about it only doing 50 resist instead of 75. And it does look like the other bonus is increased to 10%. I am actually happy to see this blog as it means i've been calculating resistance perfectly. Guess i'll post the dev blog info.

    Tier 1

    Integrated Nanofibers: Doubled the bonus damage resistance offered by this power.
    Deadly Aim: Increased the Critical Severity bonus from +10% to +20%.

    Tier 2

    Advanced Hull Reinforcement: Doubled the bonus damage resistance offered by this power.
    Advanced Targeting Systems: Increased the Critical Severity bonus from +10% to +20%.

    -Note- this changes it from 5% to 10% for AHR. Which was what i noticed on Tribble.

    Tier 3

    Active Armor Hardening: This power's tooltip was incorrect. It stated it offered between 0 and 75 damage resistance rating. It in fact only gave 0 to 50. This power's effect was boosted to match its tooltip. It now actually grants 0 to 75 damage resistance rating.
    Vanquish: This power's damage resistance debuff that scales as the enemy's health decreases has been increased from 0-15 damage resistance debuff to 0-20 damage resistance debuff.

    Tier 4

    -Note- that it was 50 for AHH and is now going to be 75 as the tooltip says. I noticed quite a while ago that it only gave 50 resist. I have not tested this on Tribble yet.

    Oh i see they only posted this just today. So i guess i was a bit ahead of them. Nice to see them correcting stuff and making other changes.
