If you use the 2 piece omega set that give you tetryon glider with the multi-vector advanced escort, does the other sections have tetryon glider also when you separate?

I did a test myself with my tactical oddy and the aquarius escort pet. It will probably affect the multi-vector pets with the advanced escort or any combat space pets (saucer, ect)

As you know, when you use the 2 piece set omega that give you tetryon glider, your DPS "Go down" in the combatlog when you parse it. I used this fact to see if the Aquarius pet was affected by the tetryon glider.

Test was done at starbase 234. I never shot the SB, I was only healing the Aquarius. Both series of test was tested with the engine and deflector of both sets (Omega and MACO)

The 3 first result for the Aquarius pet with the MACO 2 piece set gave me around 1,5K TDPS and 1,7K TDPS.

The 3 other test with the Omega 2 piece set (giving tetryon glider) gave me around 487 TDPS and 648 TDPS.

In both series of tests, the Aquarius had about the same behavior while engaging SB.

Strange enough, I did another test in the space of ESD. Deployed the pet with the MACO set, pet have 24,810 hull. Dock, go back in space with the Omega set, deployed the pet and it still have 24,810 hull. Huh?! MACO deflector is suppose to give more hull HP on ships...

So in conclusion, we can say that combat space pets ARE AFFECTED by space sets bonuses BUT not by the stats of the deflector. I cannot say about engines performance...kinda hard to evaluate.

I'll tell you one thing, after testing the tachyon beam ability, I don't trust shield drains in this game. I need to find time to test the solanae shield siphon with energy siphon to be sure (so I don't cause damage just drain), but if I get similar results it means shield drains are badly programmed.

Yes the logs have a hard time adding shield drain into the numbers, it's probably why it lower your DPS in parsers but in reality you do more damage than without (logic). I heard people complaining about this issue all over the board. I'm not happy either :(

I'm pretty sure that pets (even seperated ones) cannot benefit from items equipped on the main section, so (pretty certain) no. If you test it out and find out it works though, feel free to correct me

Pets have been inheriting powers from their parent ships. This is totally a bug and is getting fixed. It was in the tribble notes a little bit ago. So, If your MVAE sections are inheriting tetryon glider it soon wont.

If the pet is getting Glider and draining the target's shields then it ought to show a Glider icon on the target
